Yo, I've gathered EUs finest players and made a team called Tea Party. We are essentially looking for guilds to challenge us and try to beat us. So that's where you(the readers) come in. I invite you to gather up your guildmates and make a team and play against us(preferably on EU). I guarantee it'll be challenging to play against us.

Challenge(Pay out of twice a week per guild, limit of 10 tries at this challenge) :
Beat us on EU without breaking the rules and we will pay each member of your team 200 energy!

Extra Challenge(No limit)
Feeling confident ? We'll offer you a wager, if you win versus us we'll pay out 50kcr to each member in the victorious team however if you lose you pay us 5kcr. Same rules apply.

Also, we are willing to play on USA however all the challenges above are currently only active for the EU server. You must also state that you are going for a challenge(and which one too) before you fight or if you're going to just fight us for fun(we'll assume you're doing it for fun unless stated otherwise). Use your challenges carefully, since if you run out. You will only be able to play us for fun!

Also, if you are going to play for fun you obviously don't need to abide by the rules, but neither will we then.

Rules :

No pulsar/mixmaster guns are allowed
No Brandish line swords are allowed
No spark reviving is allowed
All members from Tea Party must remain in the game for your win to count as a win(so you can't win and get a prize if players dc)

Members of Tea Party : Tempas, Maiso, Theirillusion, Dutch-Oven, Vokster, Contri, Zainj(Yes I know there's 7,we have a backup in case one is busy)

Retequizzle’s MVP Challenge:
Achieve ten or more (10+) captures IN ADDITION TO 25k+ damage in a single match versus Tea Party.

Rules:

Recording is required. Preferably with software of your choice (whatever grants you the least amount of lag), but if you have to duct-tape a phone to your forehead to do it, then I don’t mind.
Video proof must be uploaded within two (2) calendar days of the match taking place. No exceptions.
Adhere to all previous rules regarding weapon selection/gear, as designated by Tempas.
Auto-target is prohibited. Since I cannot award the server for aiding in the endeavor, the prize will be nulled for anyone who violates this clause.
Intent for the challenge must be stated BEFORE the match commences. Even with a terrible load time, you should have enough time to tell someone in Tea Party that you wish to participate in the challenge.
This challenge can only be taken once per prize. If you indicate you wish to take on this challenge and you fail, you may not retake this challenge until the next prize is determined.
If more than three players from a guild take this challenge and fail, no further members from that guild may participate in the challenge until the next prize is determined.
In the event no one wins the prize within two (2) weeks of being announced, a new prize will be placed in order to refresh all previous challenges for the prize to null.

Prize #1: 5* Divine Avenger with the following UVs: ASI High + CTR Med

Do you guys follow the same rules or is it like when Feller made his GLD challenge and said all players on the other team had to record and show no AT and then included Ezho in his team?

As for the rules, no Brandish vs a team with two strong guardians makes me sad.

Yes, we will follow all of the rules above unless the enemy team breaks them. Obviously then the challenge becomes void and we can do whatever we like.

forget to say tempas didn't you just get strongest LD players and banned pola becuz its cuz as I know its their weakness but in the other hand no brandish for them that make a good balance well you did :D

If an opponent does beat my team I want to reward them for having enough skill to outmanoeuvre us, not enough pola/AT/sparks in their team to do so. The rules also make the games more enjoyable as they create a better atmosphere for each team so that's another reason why they are in place. If some team insists, they can break the rules and play us in that fashion however they won't get rewarded if they win and we don't promise to play them in a kind fashion either if they do so.

Pola and AT rules seem kinda of natural for any contest, but the brandish one just doesn't make much sense. I'd be much more concerned with a team placing VT's and SS's at camp than by one or two brandish charges, or brandish swings. There's quite a few bigger abuses than using brandish.

I can't make an entire team

I can't make an entire team record(or rather it'd be hard) to make sure they don't AT. The sword line which is most commonly used with AT and gains the most is the brandish line and it can be abused very easily.

Also, I'm not concerned at all about a team placing bombs outside of spawn. If they have no skill with bombing they'll get gunned down within a matter of seconds so it really isn't an issue.

Apologies to anyone who does not use AT with brandish and would like to use one in these challenges but it's to make the game more pleasant overall. If anyone is so keen about using brandish in this contest feel free to record the matches showing AT and toggle off and I will discard the brandish rule for the individual in question(however you must record each game you use a brandish line sword in).

That wouldn't be a problem since everyone on Dovy's team has pay to win tier gear. Either way, given that this is GLD we're talking about, I don't see why there's any point in bringing in the elitist ideals of the 1v1 competitions where skill is values over performance. That's completely ok for 1v1s but if you wanna apply it to the real LD as well you're just limiting people and forcefully changing the meta because there are parts you don't like.

If you want something that's more about skill you should play a game where latency isn't what separates the best players from the rest like Super Smash Bros. Melee where everything is played locally and latency doesn't exist and no rules beyond what's presented by the game are in place or Counter Strike: Global Offensive where there's actual latency compensation and there's a community pushing people to go as far as they can as opposed to LD where imposing limitations is more interesting.

Yes, I am forcefully changing the meta in my challenge. The reason is BECAUSE I PAY THE PRIZES.I'd argue further on the rules but there's quite literally no reason for me to do so, I pay the prizes without you needing to spend a dime(aside from the second challenge) hence I get to choose the rules of my competition. If you want to play without rules, just choose to play against us without the challenges in place. 1 more thing to point out is that the rules make the competition cleaner or would you prefer to have matches which both teams having 6 pola/AT acheron users having a brawl ?

You're right in saying that the rules are up to you. What I don't like is that you encourage a non-competitive GLD scene. Now, I shouldn't blame you for just doing what you want because I think it's good that you put effort into doing anything for the LD scene. However, there hasn't been any competition that's truly about LD in all its glory in months and that just makes me a tiny bit sad because we aren't truly developing our metagame and instead we focus on our made up competitions such as 1v1s and impose our own rulesets instead of making the best we can with everything the game has to offer.

We both know that this isn't what a top tier GLD game looks like (at least not on Eu ;) ). Your team could easily beat any scrubpile that has to rely purely on that.

i would like ti have over 10polas match only pola :D only played 3of these matchs ending winning for sure for me :D(im a cheater spammer btw) ehm btw sometimes i wonder wht do you want Krakob the idea is cool(LD is just DMG LUST now) sometimes i play games i cant even get out base for 10sec life so making such ruled LD game(gvg) show your true skills even if you have asi/msi which i dont really care about them :P.
EU server good for me but i dont really like playing on it only :P no reason. also i would like to see in the future PVP matches can choose your own rules in and play with friends or guildmates.
yeah Krakob i just got new pola play style wanna be my test subject hehe.

Apologies for any confusion, I'll explain a bit more for interested parties.

To clarify, I'm only asking for the person who is interested in taking the challenge to record with no AT. If everyone else wants to use it in the same match, that's up to Tempas to decide as it is, since it's his challenge thread. I have no interest in rewarding individual players for work they couldn't achieve on purely on their own (and their team's) merits with gear that I got 100% on my own. If anything, I -should- ask for an entire team to record but as you said, that alienates an audience more than entices them. Call it a pride thing, being a dick about it, I'm fine with either one.

I also discussed the damage threshold with several players, those who are involved as well as those not involved, and it's actually entirely feasible for an upper end player to do this. In fact, here's a proof of concept from RLD, and this is with me working independently. Six players should be able to band together with a game plan for this, even if it's everyone getting one person to be fed as much as possible. In fact, I haven't even asked for the challenger to win the game. Just get the numbers to be considered the MVP of the lobby for one game.

If for some unearthly reason people can't come close to the mark then I'll revisit the challenge and modify it accordingly to give people a fairer chance. For the time being though, I don't see why I should reward inadequacy considering my only real requirement is to have a video recording of the game itself and to upload it sooner rather than later.

It's possible if the enemy team is going for the sole goal of getting the required score. I won't give tips really but you should be able to figure out a way to do so.
