Yeah yeah, we all want blue/green sprites, blah blah, and we don't want it from behind a box RNG wall, blah blah. But they're gonna keep doing existing sprite reskins. So, I had a thought, in lieu of a "floating goats, what's next, flying pigs?" discussion with a friend:

The Maskeraith (Spiralhorn) celebrates the Chinese Year of the Ram. Monkey is next...eventually, there will be a Rooster.

I think Drakon would be a nice fit for the rooster. Why?

Roosters are birds. phoenixes are birds. Phoenixes are fire. Drakon is fire. Reskins are reborn.

Also roosters call out to the sun. Sun is fire. Drakon is fire.

Fire!

And that's pretty much it. If you like it, discuss what its ultimates might look like. Wings of Summer? I think so.

Alternatively, fat gobblesnipe with a flame aura.

If it's a 5+% unbox that doesn't look like a mass of purple then yeah, I'd consider getting one. I need a reskinned Drakon so that I can have all 6 ultimates and innately know which one has what without naming them something silly.

More on topic, this is a good idea, I would personally favor the gobblesnipe over the phoenix idea

I don't think it makes sense to have a Phoenix for the year of the Rooster...for quite a few reasons.
However! It'd be cool to have a phoenix sprite based on Drakon. However, first I'd consider revising Phoenixes.

Chaos, prepare to learn something amazing. Originally, dragons were portrayed as wingless flying serpents in China. I think Klipik is suggesting a more serpentine (and wingless) Drakon.

I like the idea, but aren't there 12 animals in the zodiac in total? Do we dedicate 4 of them to each Sprite? Cause I genuinely can't think of which Sprite would go with the pig, or monkey. Perhaps the Maskeraith would fit the latter and the Seraphynx the former.

yeah..

I would love a phoenix that has wings that are constantly on fire and more different stylish horns.

And why the hell do we have a GOAT as a battle sprite lol? It doe snot even fit in sk like the other reskins. Every past reskin refereed to something existing in game, but where do you find a GOAT in sk? HAHAHA, just crazy what random things the devs put into sk at their whims.
