Rage is one thing, but why is it that players in this game take it as a personal attack when they either get outplayed or have better/worse gear than another player? I have noticed that people tend to base a person's character almost entirely on the way they play Lockdown or if that player is straight out better/worse / has better/worse gear. I know many who post on this forum fit this criteria of hating blindly, and to that I ask you, why?
Before I get responses of people using their defense mechanism to insult me or down play this question, just know that I am serious and I don't mean to troll or insult. I am genuinely interested in why people feel the need to be so upset over virtual reality.
EDIT: I've also noticed that people complain constantly about Auto Target and to that I am also puzzled. It's a built-in game mechanic that isn't game breaking. If it made you permanently invincible then I would understand. I see people say things like, "You suck if you can't play without Auto Target," and to that I ask, "Why does it matter?" Why is it that a player's skill in Lockdown quantifies their worth as a human being (or Knight, in this case)?
AT is something that redirects your aim when you miss. If you use AT it's because you can't aim well and that means that you suck. That's a fact.
It doesn't quantifies your "human being" like you said but it quantifies your skill in LD.
