Who was the person who made/tried to make love relations to you in game?
>emberbreak armor
>everyone knew i was male
>wierdo in cyclops helm joins, couldn't have been more than eight or less than eighty
>asks to make out
>i delcine saying im a boy
>pesters me for three days
>i arrange for my guild master to spook him or exile him or something
>he quits game forever
Ah, spiral tales of love and lust.
There was once a female guildie who would join me as we sat alone in the corner of the arcade, staring at the shifting gates. It never really went anywhere though beyond that, and eventually I left the guild for other, unrelated reasons.
People still try to get flirty with me to this day, ask if I'm a girl (what do you think?), or even had people offer me things just to kiss them or something in public. Well... I guess the choice of armor you wear makes it harder to determine your exact gender to the random peeps outside of your friend list, but still... no creeperinos!
Aside from that, I've had one too many instances of people trying to ask me out, and it sent me spiraling down a path of regret for wearing what I did, yet I still choose to flaunt those delicate armors...
...but yet they press on anyway, even after I tell them I'm already taken.
I've had a few times in the past where people tried to get flirty with me, and typically they would say a few things (typically not too explicit, thank goodness) and then I'd never see them again, so it all kind of worked its own way out in the end.
Quite often I'll have players position themselves in front of me and stare me down. Some occasionally message something along the lines of 'hi', but usually it's intense, intimate, awkward staring.
Turning is funny because they try to follow my knight's line of vision.
I don't actually play the game. I just go around dressed in cyclops gear on alt accounts, hitting on people in emberbreak armor and Fangel when I see them in Haven.
On a more serious (meaning less entirely fictitious) note, I've had a handful of people ask me the whole "are u girl" question. Saying no leads to them losing interest immediatly while saying yes typically leads to my usage of the "ignore" feature.
It happens more often in the spanish havens, and by people you'd think is somewhat respectable because of the high prestige, one would suppose they play the game cause it's fun and not to flirt... right? And that's why I changed region.
Owell at least it can be funny sometimes.. sometimes.
Ah yes, this brings me back to a short lived romance I once had.
I was once approached by a gentleman just like any day in Haven. He wasn't a beggar, though. He wasn't looking for knights to join his guild, either. Unlike most strangers whom I've talked to, he was actually interested in me, not my possessions, my guild tag, or my advice. He wanted me. There was something charming about him, but I couldn't quite say what. Perhaps it was his straightforward approach or his broken english, as he asked me
Will you marry me?
Baffled by his sudden desire for long-term commitment, I had to take a few seconds to think about it. Whether my father had approved of his proposal already is something I doubted, but I couldn't deny my feelings. I shortly answered him yes, and we rubbed our faces against each other like you do in Spiral Knights because there are no better alternatives aside from the hallow emotes we know as "/kiss" and "/hug".
We spent the next 10 minutes doing all that stuff lovers traditionally do: sitting while slightly overlapping, using an excessive amount of cute smileys, getting to know each other, and so on. He was a truly exotic man and a terrific lover. No boy has ever made me feel as special as him with his blunt usage of the english language and appreciation of my stunning beauty.
Alas, nothing lasts forever. As we got to know each other better, he got to know a terrible truth. Simply put, he found out I am of the male sex and the same went for him. Perhaps he was too intolerant, perhaps I had deceived him. The military flower I wear on my Kat Claw Hood was what had captured his affection for me. Were I naive to think that he truly loved me, and not just my looks? I was told we could still be friends, but he had to make his leave. The night was growing old and he had to ride to distant lands in the morning.
I never saw my one true love again, but I think of him every day and dream of his return but I fear that day may never come. Time goes on and so should I, even though it may be hard.
You need to go after him Kraky!

I never thought of it that way, but now that you brought it up I'm pretty sure the last two strangers that have hit on me in-game were Spanish-speakers. I probably shouldn't be surprised at this point because my name reads out the same in both languages...
Now-a-days everyone in EoS hits on me but they're no strangers (to love).
What's even better is when the person that attempts to flirt with you, thinks your girl and your not....good moments like these always make me laugh when I see this.
i like to flirt with other people who have dragon-line helmets and do a little mating dance. :3c bonus points if they have a halo.
My name frightens off potential suitors...
