Bzzzzzt... "We're going to try something different this time..."
If you're interested in buying or selling the Chess furniture, go ahead and make your offers here! I am buying or selling anything myself! This is a place for chess-collectors or entrepreneurs to come do business. The idea is to make it an easy-to-find, all-in-one-place market, as opposed to using the AH. (Which is risky in the case of failed sales, etc.)
Rules (offer-makers):
- Too keep things orderly, please copy and paste the form used below. You can add bolding/emphasis if you want, but it isn't required at all. ^.^
- You are encouraged to keep all your offers in one post.
- When you successfully sell/buy/trade, please take your listings down. If you have no listings left, just leave your post empty. You may need it later! (See below)
- Also, when a transaction is completed, the one who made the offer should make a new post stating what the offer was. You'll bump the thread in the process.
Rules (everyone else):
- If you see someone with an offer you like, send the player a mail.
- If you want to talk about this thread or make suggestions, go ahead.
- If you don't care about chess pieces, you will be politely asked to-- "
GET OUT BEFORE I CALL THE PET ON YOU!
" ... Yes...
I'm going to maintain a list of links for offer-makers. I'll provide a link to your username and post, as well as a super abreviated listing of your offers. (See post #2) If you don't abide by the rules/formatting, I'll ignore you.
State your IGN (it's assumed to be your forum name if you leave this off), and then clearly mark what you want to buy, sell, or trade. Only call pieces by their chess names! (i.e. "Black Pawn" as opposed to "Black Devilite".) The reason for this is to make it easier to search for pieces using a browser's search function. Also, I've had at least one person wanting a full set! This is perfectly valid, but I don't really have any standard notation for this.
When offering for a trade, make it clear what you are giving and what you are asking for! You don't have to copy the way I do it, but don't just say "WTT White Pawn for Black Pawn". When I look at that, I can tell that this person wants to give a White Pawn, but, at a glance, it might be unclear. Spend the extra second to make it more clear, please.
If you want to get snazzy, bold the names of the pieces. This is totally optional, though.
Example

WTB:

Black King for 100k cr
White Bishop for 60k cr
