So I started a YouTube channel and I'm making an SK Let's Play.
I'm not saying you should check it out.
But I'm totally saying you should check it out.
You know, if you feel like procrastinating and wasting 15 minutes of your life
Spiral Knights LP
Thanks! I'll try to upload videos at least twice a week right now, hopefully a bit more often later.
EDIT: I have a decent mic now so live commentary is possible without it sounding terrible.
So that's a thing.
Cool. I subscribed. I am curious as to what mic your using. I started a youtube channel for SK as well. But my mic sounds like crap.
I bought a Stadium USBMIC1 Studio Mic for $60 (Australian), for that first video I did post commentary with my laptop mic. The next two episodes will be post commentary but after that I have live stuff.
I think that I'll make SK my main series until I get to the first HoH grind, then I'll put it to the side and occasionally do montages while doing Minecraft or something. Then I'll go back to SK and put it off again when I need to get to 5*, again doing something else: it just seems to make sense.
Always fun to have more people showing off stuff. :)
To be honest I've been accumulating random moments from my playtime due to shadowplay being a thing. The audio quality isn't always the best sadly. A silly compilation is sort of my end goal, in tune with some of the stuff I've posted on steam.
But having let's players gets more people involved with the game, so make it a fun adventure!
I have a huge problem with commitment.
I can never actually do Youtube stuff for long periods of time.
Maybe I should collab with my friend: he does some Youtube stuff. I just get the feeling that collabs are more fun to make than videos by yourself.
Maybe try streams? I am thinking of starting on the streaming scene with Spiral Knights. Maybe that will get more players to try it out? (Hopefully..)
Possibly, but I think the problem is that at first it'll mostly just be people that already play SK watching it.
I know that's the same problem with Youtube, but...
Liked and subscribed, I'll probably watch the rest later though. From gamer to gamer, good luck with your channel. :)
