I'm willing to bet its because A. Things just went up or B. They aren't up yet and I pulled the trigger way to fast on responding.
But Using Chrome or IE7 (blagh) It doesn't load.
I downloaded the installer, ran it. Tried reloading the page in Chrome. Hopped to IE7. Same thing in both.
Gets to 100%, says launching. Nothing happens.
Restarted my machine. Same thing. Curious. I don't believe I've missed any java updates but I'm going to check just to make sure.
It should have been just fine at the time you posted. In the mean time try and download the client instead from:
http://download.threerings.net/spiral/client/spiral-install.exe

And now it works!
So, I just re-installed it from the link again. I had previously used the link to download as well. But after reinstalling and resetting It loads. Hooray. Now time to get back to not sleeping cause it isn't like i have weekly reports and tracking to take care off before I head off to NYCC. Hahahaha.
In the installation directory, see if you have a launcher.log file and a projectx.log file. If you have either, can you post the contents here.
