I know there have already been several posts on this subject but I'm going to post anyways. I think health bars showing how much health the enemy has left would be very helpful. I do think that they would be excessive for monsters but I think they'd be fantastic for bosses. I think it would be nice to know whether spending ce for another revive would be worth it or not :)

+1, bosses need to have HP bars. Monsters do not. It would create unnecessary lag.

Indeed

Monsters aren't necessary. Bosses are. They don't all have an indication on whether thy're actually going to die anytime soon.

Most of the bosses do have an indication. JK goes Berserk, Roarmulus start shooting lazors, Vana has the orbiting fire things, the only one that doesn't show any signs of dying is Snarblox. If you know what you're doing, you can tell when a boss is going to die.

Now on topic, I think this is a great idea. It'd be nice to see when mobs/bosses are going to die.

Maybe...

Really? I was one-manning JK, when I died, he was going berserk every 2 seconds but he wasn't healing anymore....

He doesn't heal when berserk,

He doesn't heal when berserk, though when he gets out of it, he starts healing again, attacks once, then goes back into berserk. Easiest way to deal with him then is follow him around while he rampages and charge your sword, when he stops, unleash hell. It really makes jk easier to solo.

Mokay, but...

I can only ever get in one charge hit if any after he goes berserk, in which after 3 tried I wind up dead X_X Then go: "oh crap, NOW I realize I had a health capsule..."

Its a skill you pick up from doing it multiple times, I've learned to kite around all the small jellies while following JK so I can land my calibur charge attack for 3 hits. :D

Getting back on the current subject at hand...

I think it would be neat to have health bars for bosses. Perhaps right above your health bar at the bottom-middle of the screen, so you can see it at all times even if the boss is off screen. For the Roarmulus Twins, they would share a health bar, just like Twin Woods from Kirby Super Star.

KIRBY!

GO KIRBY! GO KIRBY! WOOT! KIRBY HELM AND EVERYTHING!!

Ahem...

Roarmulus Twins don't really need them that much, although it wouldn't hurt, but they do show battle damage.

Ah what the hell, get it anyway.

Just to repeat myself....

If you check the OP, I DID say that monster health bars would be excessive xD Guess its the name of the thread that confuses everyone. @Valkyrie182: Yea Levi is bad ass for JK :D I don't think that RT really NEED the health bar but it would be helpful none the less.
