Well it may sound wierd and all that, but let me explain.

So his name would be whatever the heck OOO makes it.
------STORY------------
The spiral knight once ventured into the clockworks, and went into tier 2. He got lost and got stuck on a clockworks level. Eventually he made it of his own, creating rage against spiral knights. So he's a boss and so on so on.
-----THE STUFF WITH IT :3-----
The level then should be a dusty old broken down palace (He made it his own teehee.) and their should be the bat monsters and zombies. Eventually
when you reach the 2nd level, the theme should be a bit more darker with paper and portraits all dusty on the ground. (same monsters) Once you reach the boss OOO should make the area like this. A bit of grass in the corners and the sides, it's a small room just like Vanadukes, and his moves should be a spin attack with his swords (OOO can make whatever the damage is) and a shoot attack with whatever gun. I also think that if you get hit with a bullet, you should have a condition just like the monsters suffer depending on what kind of gun OOO makes it. Once he reaches the half health mark he should have his eyes get redder and redder (or mad whetever and excuse my excessive use of punctuations :P) and he should move more faster with the spin knives and a new move! DRUM ROLL.... Throwing knives! Just like the fiends do with the wierd staffs and snowballs, if you get hit by a sword the condition would be stun. Once you have his health reach 1, there should be a dialouge.
--THE DIALOUGE AT THE END..---
-[Input what OOO makes his name}- "Wait! DONT KILL ME! Ill stop, I just want to get out of here!
Then you get rewarded with the stuff, and what happens to the thing is he just stands there at his room intill you leave.
The end.

A bit of suggestions would be nice, and if you flame me you just bump the topic.

What I'm thinking is that instead of finding the recon modual in front of the elevator, how about when you beat him he tosses it into the center of the level? Also flamming bumps sound painful.

and a little piece of th emodule should say
"Anyway when we left the treasure room we forgot something in there. I tink it was a member, or probably just a material."
But it wouldnt make much sense if he had the module, afterall he was left behind. WAIT! LIGHTBULB!!
He should be the one to write it! :D

My own suggestions for your

My own suggestions for your idea:
The recon Module explains how he thought they abondoned him, and how after many fights he was able to control this single dungeon (doesn't say how), and he 'feels funny' (Dun-Dun-Duunnn)
The knifes could be thrown from his very own Aegis (The Crest is crossed out and the shield is a bit more worn)
The knifes could be part of his 2/3 phase instead, Because when he reaches his 3/3 phase...
He turns into a Phantom! He losese all his weapons and armour (and his knifes) in this stage. But he moves very quickly and can teleport by turning into one of those fire balls. His awakening destroys all monster still on the field from his 2/3 Phase. And periodically he goes back into a ball, no health regen or anything for him, and monsters appear; right up until he 'awakens' againand destroys all th mobs currently on the field. His attacks are normally just quick slashes, But are also composed of charge attacks when hes far away from the knights (Possibility for it to be interrupted?)
When he finally dies, his throne, at the back of the arena blows up, revealing the Elevator! And behind it is the recon module, and all of that good stuff.

Also, I strongly suggest editing your post and correcting the grammar. If you don't feel like doing, its your choice, Ican't force you to change your own post to suite my own wants.

Hmm..

Phantom? Not so bad, the 3rd stage for that. Any way i had a bit of ideas for his look. It should be a silver and light blue wolver set.

Great work.

I believe this is a great boss idea, but if you want more people to read it all the way through and gain more supporters I would correct your grammar, it merely leaves a better impression.

Since this knight is lost,

Since this knight is lost, elevators on those level should start off broken/disabled. Some kind of puzzle would have to be completed to get them working OR add those force fields subtowns have to explain why he is stuck and can't go away.

Also on each stage his weapons should be upgraded- first a normal gun and slow sword(troika?) - then ricochet bullets with normal sword(calibur) and finally, explosive bullets and fast sword(cutter). After he receives a certain amount of damage, he raises his shield, becomming immortal for a couple of seconds-this is done to give the boss time to switch stages.

Hell, I'm starting to like the way this storyline is coming out. Wish OOO would make a few storylines that were more epic-like such as this rather than simplistic like the ones we've been seeing. If we're lucky, we might even see cutscenes...

Idea!

And a really random one too, inspired by Snarf's comment. Why not have it so the player starts out playing with the Knight himself? And watch him go insane. This would only be played the first time, and would be accessed via opening say, a diary that you get on the level before you meet him. Like an artifact that's used up after you play the mission. Then you go and meet the little devil for himself.

I would suggest that the levels before has him warning you, And just before you get onto the last elevator to his area he shows his mental breakdown by growling and such. When you finally meet him he has speech bubbles over his head saying some evil stuff. After he is dead a speech box appears saying he has regained control, but doesn't know how long it will last and urges you to run away as fast as you can.

How about during the 2nd or 3rd phase he pulls out a bomb (nitronome, graviton, status, one of those) and you have to keep dodging his bombs by running out of the radius, should he have reduced charge time or no charge at all? Also i vote +9001 (ITS OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!)

Similar ideas

I was thinking of a sleep based boss called Morpheus.He was the leader of the trojans and the only sleep user knight with a 5* tranquilizer called sucker punch(upgraded punch gun) and a 5*Hatchet called Somnus Hatchet(glowing dark blue, slow moving spikes and the red/yellow black stripes are blue,green and black and it shape is more T than upside reverse L). He is dressed like a trojan but knight sized and the head is like a helmet. And has a sleep bomb called knockout and a sheild named after him that deflects bullets and causes some sleep. He cannot be harmed by bullets or bombs, but melee. He is weak to poison.

His story is that he died defending his group, bravo squad from a trojan nightmare. He had no energy left and he coulden't ho back to haven.He had a crystal on his back which was similar to said trojan. He mutated to the point he feeds on peoples dreams to survive. He became a dominant force among the knights and led the trojans against them. He recides in a realm in tier 3 called Knightmare of Troy. He creates variants of trojans to defend it. It is a castle and dystopian based realm with destruction. There are alot of sleep items.

He has a recon module that tells how his last moments were. His tokens are called snooze crystals and can be used to buy 2* versions of his armour and weapons.

Though this may be a somewhat difficult task to accomplish, but what if he surrendered the first time, but his soul would still remain there. The soul version would be optional, and requires everyone in the party to have beaten the regular boss. Once the regular form is defeated, then he begins lo laugh insanely (voice actors? lol jk) then he pulls out a Gran Faust, thus, transforming the environment into a Dark abyss... Just an idea :D
(sorry, I play to much of those epic RPG games)

And that is the reason now Spiral Knights only goes in teams of four. Alpha Squad had five people :3c

lol, i think faust is an epic sword. I dont think acheron would fit. I also forgot to add, because its "Optional", before the stage is swallowed in darkness, an option will come up, (Flee! run to the elevator!) or (We must defend Haven! Bring it!). if atleast 50% of the party chooses to fight, they will battle. If 3/4 players say no, then they will flea to the elevator. Even if you flea, then you still get your tokens, but you will be given an additional token or 2 (or even None!) the ammount of extra tokens is determined by PERFORMANCE, not how many levels were done, so failing horridly at the bonus boss will give you no extra tokens (trololol) and so on. I think this is a very good idea, and hope OOO does something similar to this in the future. I think it should be a tier 3 boss however, (maybe all of this can take place inside the core once unlocked! :O)

Phantom Knight Maybe?

Like those guys in the Graveyard, he could be the equivalent to that since it seems like more of an undead boss rather than a fiend. Speaking of, he should summon those phantoms depending on the amount of people in your party (summons 3 if it's a full party, 2 if it's 3 people, 1 if it's 2 people and none if you're alone).

ANYWAY, this sounds like an awesome idea and a great opportunity for OOO to advance the plot.

see my boss idea.

i like the sound of it, needs work but its a start. occured to me once to, i never posted it, i have other ideas. for this boss maybe it could be a

1 VS 1 boss. that would be awesome.

I have posted a tier 3 boss idea if you want to check it out, give ideas and suggestions. see "boss idea", will be called the "clockworks gaurdian" and the levels themselves will be called something along the lines of "clockworks way".

Maybe, if he is still alive when beaten, he should enter an elevator of his own that takes him to haven, but as you go down, you see his elevator jutter then stop (which would explain the repeatability of this boss)

I like this idea, if it's done properly. Here's my idea for the artifact gained from defeating the knight:

The elevator malfunctioned, and it carried the rest of the squad down without me; it jammed at the bottom and won't come back up either. If Rulen were here he'd have it fixed in no time flat, but as it stands I'm trying to figure this thing out on my own.

Thinking about it, how can the elevator know when everyone's on? Is it psychic? If that were true, that would mean it was sentient. A sentient elevator, now that would be something... Does it maybe have a pressure sensor? If that were the case it could tell when the right number of knights were on, but how does it know how many are together? It can obviously tell somehow.

Maybe there are no safety measures at all, and they are just controlled by the panel on the elevator itself. But then, why would this one malfunction? Unless... unless it didn't. What if they meant to exclude me? What if the squad thought I was a burden to them, and they wanted to ditch me? No, no that's a horrible thought. I can't afford to think like that.

It has been dark for so long. My eyes yearn to see the bright light of day again, to leave this abysmal place and seek the warmth of the sun. I cannot remember the last time I saw the outer world, having been in this chamber for so long. This chamber is my prison, my shelter, my sanctuary. I am protected from the threats of the Empire, yet I am stuck here, the Elevators all broken from years of no use and rust. I still wonder how exactly I ended up here, my past life now a whisp in the wind.

I used to be the leader of the Almirian Crusaders, a powerful force who protected Almire, and her ruler, Lord Vanaduke. We were the elite troops of the army, and were undefeated in battle for as long as anyone could remember. At least, we were until the Empire attacked. My men fought bravely, but there was too much invaders, and we were overpowered. Facing defeat for the first time ever, we panicked, and our forces were scattered. Some of us ran for the Elevators, leaving our Lord Vanaduke behind, going up and down the Gremlins' Labyrinth, fleeing the enemy. I am ashamed to admit that I was one of them.

However, my elevator malfunctioned, and I dropped down, deeper and deeper into the metal deathtrap, until I came upon this chamber. I took refuge here, and the Empire threatened me no more. But a strange, new opponent was down here, a shadowy, mysterious enemy who overpowered me, and the last thing I remembered was fading into the dark, shadows coursing through my body.

Now, I am a servant of my new master, his spirit empowering my body. The creatures of the shadows are my servants, and the Dark Plague that comes from me spreads, infecting all who live down in this deep area of the Labyrinth. No more do I seek the companionship of the living, as I am a shadow of my former self. I am dead.

It has been dark for so long. But I no longer reach for the sky. The Shadows are my friends, and I embrace them, trust them, as my brothers.

what do u think? guess what the Gremlin's Labyrinth and the Shadow Plague are.

This is cool, but it would be

This is cool, but it would be cooler if instead of being a random knight, it would be a sort of "dark energy" that transforms into YOUR knight. that way you and him would be even in the fight. In Multiplayer, he would randomly switch between different people. (He would always be the strongest player when hes at half health).

Everything else I could care less about but this... this I like very much. Fighting a striker would be an amazing battle. I love the idea of him

I love the idea of him transforming into one of your own knights, it would discourge barbs greatly. It would be fun to fight a knight with full mad bomber and a nitro....
Also, he should be resistant to curse so its not too OP to bring a GF in there.
Guys, LOVE the artifacts, really puts a story behind it, but i still like the idea of it being a knight kicked from the alpha squad.

Also, how about the first phases he transforms into random knights, then later the shows his true form, a Shadow.

no dont make this more teir 2 stuff make t3 or t1 we do not need another t2 boss(well actully in retro spect t2 would be good) so actully just go t2 and make u able to get his sheild and sword and maybe armor and knives(as a gun u throw knives if its t2 then it should be 3* and upgrade able(or down grade if it s like either a vog cub knive or skolver) ?

I've thought about this idea

I've thought about this idea a little, and here's my idea for the fight itself:

Stage 1
When entering the arena, the knight will have the standard light blue eyes, and will greet you with some text about how 'you' abandoned him (clearly thinking that you are the Alpha squad finally returning to him). When he finishes speaking, his color will shift to red and he will attack. Knight has standard Azure Guardian armor and a Khorovod-like heavy sword. He moves at regular knight speed with Movement Speed Inc Med (to prevent any epic kiting) and attacks normally. He can also use a Valiance-like handgun while closing distance between himself and the players if all players are outside of a certain radius of him. Has an Aegis-like shield that can block, shield-bump, and be guard broken if damaged enough. Pretty much like fighting someone in PvP, except Knight has more health.

Stage 2
Upon being damaged enough, Knight's color shifts to purple and he discards the heavy sword and gun. He draws an ASI Med Calibur-like sword and gains the Lockdown Strikers' dash ability. He will try to dash around you and hit from behind whenever possible, as well as dashing to close distance to away to escape attacks. When his dash depletes he will walk at normal speed until it has recharged.

Stage 3
The Knight's armor crumbles, revealing a phantom within it. He wields a shadow cutter (like those the Graveyard phantoms use) and a shadow alchemer (one in either hand). The phantom has similar movement to those in the Graveyards, only with a slightly faster walking speed. In place of the dashing ability he can psudo-teleport similar to wolvers. He dodges most projectiles (similar to wolvers) and will teleport out of the blast radius of a bomb if he can. He uses the alchemer to interrupt players' charge attacks and bomb charging if he isn't already engaged with someone else.
