1996 December, the day I was born on gaIIexus. GaIIexus was a planet far from earth. But gaIIexians weren’t much different from humans. Only, they were masters of the weapon. Swords, Bombs, guns, they mastered it all.
Back to story, I studied at the GaIIexus Weapons Academy and mastered my first weapon. The GaIIexian. It was a blue colored sword which had no hilt. Just a plain blue aura around it. The only thing was it made up for its Looks with suckish damage. Therefore it was used as a training sword. My days at the academy flew past quickly and I came out a graduate in the art of weaponry.
One fine day, I was curIed up in my room reading a comic when I heard a blast. A tremor shook my house. Then I heard an ear-piercing sound and quickly covered my ears. Then came the impact. The windows burst and the door came off its hinges. Air started flooding the room and everything in it. AII my books were flying in the air. I ducked under my bed and screamed for help. What had happened? I had no clue. Suddenly my parents rushed in. My dad started clearing the debris towards the window while my mom took me by the hand and led me out. What I saw outside took my breath away. My heart skipped a beat. There was fire everywhere. People were on fire and were screaming like anything. Cars were overturned and buildings were broken. It looked like hell to me. My parents took me to a nearby car, the only intact one, and drove me to the space and research academy. I saw a huge crowd outside the academy. I managed to get a glimpse of the message board. In bright IED the words came written “Nuclear Rocket fusion failure. Evacuate, Evacuate”
I gasped. On enquiring I found out a nuclear explosion had taken place on the Lower area of GaIIexus. Due to this, the balance of the planet’s eco-system is crumbing. We were requested to evacuate. The doors soon opened and the entire mob rushed in like hungry dogs… I wouldn’t blame them. There were numerous pods Lined up. Each one had a door on it. Soon, they all opened in synchronization. The Head of GaIIexus stepped onto a large platform and addressed us all.
“My fellow GaIIexians” he began “The time of disaster has clasped us in its hands. But I would request each and every one of you, to not panic. Now, our planet’s very balance was disrupted, so living here any further will only cause more problems. Now as we have a shortage of Pods, it is decided that only the young and the youthful will go. Some of our best physicians will stay back and find a way to stop this madness. In the meantime, the youth of GaIIexus will go to a planet far from here. From the Looks of it, it contains GaIIexians too. As per research by one of our scientists, agent Kora, they have similar molecular structure to us. Hence it might be safe to proceed there. Once you reach there, our research head, Kora, will guide you. Good Luck, My fellow GaIIexians”
I found it pretty hard to leave my parents with just a ray of hope, but once a Law is passed, it’s a Law: P
I got into the pod and so did many others. The pods soon closed up and were shot into the deep blue sky. I found a few pieces of equipment in the pod. It looked like a helmet, a shield, a piece of Armor, a sword a gun and a bomb. I didn’t know what it was for, but nevertheless I wore it. I was feeling pretty scared already. Suddenly my pod started vibrating like anything... I fell but regained my posture quickly. What I saw took my breath away. A huge ball with green and blue markings on it… We reached our destination. When I neared the planet, my pod started going haywire. It started spinning Like crazy and crashed in some place. The door was jammed and I had to kick it open. I managed to clamber out. Outside my pod, I saw a brown dusty road and green bushes everywhere. It wasn’t too different from gaIIexus. Then I heard a voice from my armor. It was a walkie Talkie in my armor. I took it out. “Hey, Recruit” I heard a voice from it. “It seems you crash Landed in a Place far from the rescue camp. But don’t worry. The equips you have on should guide you safely to the rescue camp. Good Luck!”
Who was that? Nevertheless, I took my sword and rushed forward. If there was one thing I Loved, it was adventure: D
Not a few steps from now, me saw a few bushes. I broke them into pieces with my sword. It felt good… but not as good as stuffing my sword into some enemy. I kept running forward and I saw a few blobs who were throbbing from all sides. They had spikes on them and were pink… They looked pink. “Is this an excuse for an enemy?” I thought and rushed at them. Both of them directed their attention on me and rushed at me too. I stopped mid way. “Whoa! One at a time folks” I muttered. I swung my sword as hard as I could, it didn’t hit. I repeated it again, and this time, a slight yellow Light came from it. Maybe I can… I thought and swung my sword hard and let it hit the side of my hip. To my relief, the sword began to glow yellow. And then a bright Light came out of it. The monsters must have been blind cause they rushed at me. I released my charge and it cut them in half. They fell to the floor. Sweet! I thought.
I kept running forward. I saw a few boxes which I destroyed to find heart shaped gobules. I could put my hand thru them. Guess they were some kind of healing system. I moved on till I saw a force field. I rushed through it and found many GaIIexians there. I met one of my friends too. He had a similar story to mine. It seems the person who talked to me was agent Kora. I met him a Little into the camp. He gave me the basics into this world. My sword was a proto sword. And my gun was a protogun... and what was the bomb… a proto bomb -_-
He explained how going into the cIockworks depletes my spirit energy. And I should limit myself to only 100 spirit energy. I was eager, so I joined the gate going straight to the city of this planet I guess? Haven. I went solo and invited my buddy. We rushed through some of those jellies like earlier (I learnt from Kora) then we saw a pack of wolvers. They looked dangerous. But my friend urged me to go ahead. He took out his bomb and placed it near them. I used my sword to keep them inside the blast radius. Boom! The wolvers screamed in pain and then fell to the floor. We went on to a Lift. “I guess this Leads to Haven” My friend said. “Seems so” I replied back. We both got on it. And it descended into Haven.
What I found in haven was pretty neat. It was a city well cleaned; there was a big pond in the middle, a bazaar, an arcade etc. I wanted to go to the arena training base, but the person up front told me to go to the arcade. So I did as told. There I found another gaIIexian. He seemed hefty built. He told me more about the cIockworks and minerals. I was eager to venture into the cIockworks... That’s when he warned me of some of the dangerous creatures in the cIockworks. The snarboIax, the jelly king and Vanaduke. Not to mention the roarmuIus twins. I was eager to fight VD, as most people called him. I quickly gathered some of my friends, who aced in the academy and went on a tier 1 run. We went on smoothly till the terminal. Later on another knight joined us who was pretty good too. Soon we were on our way to the snarboIax. The road there seemed very dangerous. And SnarboIax seemed really tough but we did it in the end (will release another story describing my fight with snarboIax: P)
I got 5 frumious fangs. And I got a lot of these small gold coins with crowns on them. I went on a few more runs till I started feeling a bit tired. I guessed that my energy was low, so I retired for the day. I had collected around 12k crowns. So I checked what I could buy. First I needed a better sword. My sword sucked. So I bought 2 recipes. One was a caIibur and one was a tempered caIibur. I heard it was a good sword. I soon worked on it and got both of them. Then I started working on my armor… and so on and so forth, I soon got my 5* equips. And the day finally came, when I would fight my tier 2 and tier 3 bosses.
