Hmmm,
I wish Ancient plate shield had elemental or shadow defence like Ironmight's piercing defence. It is no problem if it costs 40-100 almirian seals. Now, it is much worse than Volcanic/Ironmight plate shields.
a weapon with no or low cooldown that would let you attack while on the move would be pretty sweet, although a bit inefficient in terms of damage. but it be so cool for assasin like fighting, running past someone and slicing a blade through them seems so very satisfying.
-Sealed sword line that retains it's particular charge attack.
-More 'normal' (not heavy) Swords that inflict satuses on last attack.
huge normal dmg 10 swing sword in calibur family with each swing:
-doubling the dmg(1st swing damage >1< in tier 1 and 2, >2< in tier 3)
-increasing the knockback
-increasing the attack duration
charge attack similar to the calibur charge with even bigger knockback and dmg same as 10th regular attack hit. if the enemy isnt knocked back due to obstructions, an additional 2nd hit can occur at the front of the wielder in an angle of 90° with half the charge attack dmg(9th regular attack hit). long charge time(maybe same as gran faust?)
determining the attack durations and knockback would need testing respectively, the knockback must be way too big after the 8th hit, at the earliest, to ensure, that the targets fly too far away, so multiple devastating hits cannot be landed without further risks of getting hit(assuming that the final hits interrupt targets attacks)
the weapon itself shouldnt be efficient(unless combined with other weapons such as shivermist buster, stagger storm, graviton bomb, etc.), but it should be fun to carry a huge sword, that can deal massive dmg and knock monsters far away. it would also be the 1st sword to have a 10 swing combo(requiring at least 10 mouse clicks) and it might be a cool effect to watch the sword gaining power as it gets slower with each swing
imo the troika swords are neither efficient nor do they have the potential to land powerful hits unlike the sword, that im suggesting. i hope this sword idea or any similar ideas will be taken into consideration
if you want pain... then you might want a shot at the "Clockworks Angel".
continued sealed sword (can anybody come up with a name for it's 4* and 5*)
well simpel, same as sealed sword but more allong the lines of (gran) faust. second hit has a CHANCE to inflict ANY status effect (shock, curse, fire, poison, stun... maybe sleep haha good way to bring that into the game) and keep the same charge (bigger radius or something the higher it goes)
i had this idea for a while and now with the reskin a guildmember/friend was talking about it and had the same idea :D if this came out i'm realy going to craft one
Not really that hard to name it. The Avenger and Faust represent 2 opposing forces.... Justice and Malice. The sealed sword itself represents instability and raw potential. Between them, perfect complimentary themes for the Sealed sword would be like discord, balance, or even emergence. "Dissonance" might make for a good 5* name, but I'm positive there are better examples out there.
I wrote this up in a word doc before you could log into the forums with steam attack.
I am quite fond of how sealed swords charge attack can apply any status.
So I would like a sealed sword style 4* and 5* versions, they would deal normal damge.
Trickster Blade: 4* star would be fairly basic, charge attack has a higher chance to cause status and/or a larger aoe, and it would have 4 star damage.
Sly Trickster Blade: The big changes would happen at 5 star. The second attack would have a low/very low chance of causing a random status, but the charge attack would be much different. Each charge attack would cause a different effect with possible status infliction as follows.
Curse: Creates a purple phantom blade akin to a Faust, the blade does not launch out but instead performs a single 360 degree spin around the point were the charge attack hits. This phantom blade deals shadow damage and can cause curse.
Fire: Creates a series of explosions in a cross shape, like a blast network bomb. These explosions cause elemental damage and can cause fire.
Ice: A cone of damage akin to a frozen shamblers breath attack going forward from the player. Causes shadow damage and can cause Freeze
Stun: A series of spike randomly burst from the ground, like a giant lichen colony’s spike roots. Causes piercing damage and can cause stun.
Poison: A set of spikes like from the charge attack of the snarble line of swords, these spikes can cause poison and do piercing damage.
Shock: Causes a small haze like a static capacitor or lightning capacitor, causes elemental damage and can cause shock.
a line of gremlin gear, we already have some here and there but they don't go anywhere upgrade wise
