The main purpose of the training hall is to test new weapondry on... Crappy scuttlebots. This highly dissapoints me. So there should be a more advanced training hall.
The training grounds entrance shoud be near the alchemy machine at the east side of town.

Entrance fee is 50cr

Inside the training hall, you can select the monster family(s) and/or status conditions.
The arena is a basic arena found in the clockworks but bigger, plus a sancuary gate (the blue haze) at the bottom that leads to the entrance. Monsters will act the same, exept they will not drop items.

Along with the arena, there is a shooting range.

Multiplayer features work here for cooperative PvE

PROs
something fun to do when ME is drained
Experience the full efect of weapons
Just plain fun

CONs
Potential decrease of clockwork runs

Lol

This goes hand in hand with my idea, I completely agree I'd rather kill monsters for fun with friends than to talk about nothing constantly
because they action is better :P

I agree !!!

But, to be less OP, the entrance fee must be high (same of PvP, maybe?) ...

Actually, I doubt it'd

Actually, I doubt it'd decrease the amount of Clockwork runs.

This is somethin' to do when ya don't HAVE any/enough mist to use for a run. And if someone wanted to test a weapon, they can get a good feel of it in the Advanded Training hall.

Good idea, but

…why the entrance fee? It's just a training ground.

i agree with metagenic

it's then becomes a waste of money it's a training hall it doesn't give ANYTHING so why cost the crowns

I think

Here's what I think you two above me.

The fun in SK comes from

1- Having an objective to complete
2- KILLING everything that stops you from reaching that objective
3- Getting cr/materials from their corpses

Now, at present, a player must decide between using their energy to craft or clockwork. They WANT to actually PLAY the game, but they also WANT more profit. They have to choose between the two. Only ONE option is available. They can play Lockdown, but that costs cr as well.

Now, if this thing didn't have a cost, then they could easily craft for profit, then have their mindless fun in the Training grounds.

But if you put a cost on it, there'd be a little reluctance to use it, so the choices has been altered slightly.

1- Craft and get off.
2- Craft and go to Training grounds.
3- Clockwork to get cr, then spend that cr on the training grounds.
4- Just clockwork.

At the moment, doing anything has a cost. Clockwork at the possible expense of profit, or craft at the expense of fun. It doesn't make much sense, but free fun isn't all that good. Then people will be able to get cr faster while still having their fill of fun, speeding up the time they need to spend ingame to get what they need.

I'm not sure if that makes much sense to you guys. Can anyone help me clarify? :/

Also, it allows you to test out new weapons you have, so instead of taking a weapon to a stage and finding it completely useless there, you can test out it's effectiveness in an effective, safe environment that the Advanced Training Hall cannot provide.

In my opinion, fun is only

In my opinion, fun is only fun when you're getting somewhere so you can have more fun. (Planning ahead lol) Killing stuff and getting nothing is not very "fun", but just a great waste of time.
