Congrats on your continuing narcissism. I will admit that it is fun and gratifying to amass wealth, digital and otherwise, but what is your ultimate goal with all your treasures? Like you, I have invested in the various markets of the game, buying and selling and taking advantage of patches, changes and the Steam influx. I have also spent money on the game and people are sometimes impressed by my PvE loadout. So, I understand being proud of accomplishments.
I really admire those who have written guides to help new players. I can't say I have much respect for displays of wealth. Who are you seeking to impress? Heh, what's your motivation? What sort of reputation are you trying to build?
Man, you're lucky to take advantage of this first come first serve system. I bought the bomber pack like 2 weeks ago or so after $10 more bucks on the rose regalia event(the gold tabard that I put up 2 1/2 weeks after the event was over that only went for 100k cr), and have only used 3500 ce of it, and I only intended to use all the ce for crafting, not for selling. Now because of the new update, where we can't make any money at all, and me wanting to make money to get just recipes, I feel like playing this less to completion(even without crafting max uvs for myself). I feel like I want my money back, cause now it just seems like a bad time to buy energy. By the way, I went by the name Ranzo before the new forum change. And I complained about the energy prices before knowing some secrets which is why I was silent about people complaining about looping(and believe me there are always going to be exploits like Castlevania HD farming on Dracula's stage, Wild Arms 255 apple items stat boosts from one battle, and game cheat devices). And I know there were some topics complaining about that, and some that linked to a few old ones that date even back near the beta date from this and steam forums. The update was pretty [fabulous]. We have no avenues of making money, and now they can really make money.
I think all the people that want to tighten people's chances are the ones that have most of the things they want. Now I have to use just mist energy and stop myself from being so upset of dying and doing solo runs(since joining 1 depth before basil would be bull), and spread out the time of playing this game for like 2 years to get everything(since recipe prices are still rip offs, and I've been doing basil runs ever since I bought the bomber pack, and energy prices haven't gone down at all) while playing other games I want to(hey gotta support other developers, not to mention my time), but I hate, absolutely hate playing or adding one more game to my schedule, it's like multi-tasking to me and it prevents me from learning about other games solidly. I might just quit eventually, I've had that feeling since the update, and just stopped a few days even with the opportunity cost of just crafting and letting the energy regenerate(but then I know it regenerates slow and I might want to play to get recipes, but that feeling doesn't come). Even with 6000 ce left in my account and some mist, and no, won't be giving my work away. There just seems to be less incentive to play this. I sure as hell don't want to spend over a week to get a 5 star gear like I did back in the 1st or 2nd month of Steam like before. And man, when the ironboxes came out in the first week, a guy told me he/she sold one for 40k cr. When I eventually get one the lowest prices eventually go down to 2k cr. Luck has never been good.
Congrats though, I'm jealous of many guys like you, cause you can just sit back and play this game anytime you want. I notice one of them on my friend's list(show me about 1,500,000 cr before like 3 months ago), doesn't play this very often anymore and plays just lockdown every now and then(which I haven't even played once since I'm too busy trying to get the recipes I want). And some guys like Chris, but not himself, didn't have to spend a penny to buy ce with real money. God, I shiver at the times I just did snorborlax runs for 2 months, getting a 5 star cobalt/azure set and finally re-entering just tier 2 and dying again after 2 months of getting it, because I was stupid to keep the shield key at x and not keys like spacebar. Yes it's been that long. And also I did only snorborlax runs trying to get some small amount of profit from selling snarble barbs from vendors before the unbinding update. Whew, was that just torture to me, while a lot of people knew about farming budgets, and whatnot. That's why I've seen many youtube videos where the guys have ce at 4-6 figures. I guess those days are behind me, but then again, that's when energy was 3300-4300cr/100ce. And mass crafting I knew about, but I just didn't get the budget and time factor it took, and I wasn't getting any good uvs with the 3 star gear, and not much profit and selling time either, I even tried haze bombs before the update which I didn't like, and now with my 2nd account and just like what I've heard from another it took them about 50 tries to get some low uvs, with others it's less, so some people's luck isn't so good. I have over probably 50 gear and the best I've gotten was a vh beast on the Neutralizer and high stun on Volcanic Demo Suit, and met 10 love puppies with no locket for god's sake. And I wasn't fully familiarized with the best and most sought out equipment based on the boss runs. Still, you got the selling time factor and these things aren't going to sell anytime soon if you are the 2nd lowest price even sometimes.
Oh, and I still haven't had the nerve to craft a divine cloak yet, that's still one of the last things to do. But even though I feel I'm near the end of crafting, in actuality, I still know I have like 50 more things to craft to finish all the sets with some of the armor sharing the same brand line.
