I restarted my computer and everything i can see my health my energy my map other players in the party but everything in the background is black. My roomate joined my game and its happening to him now to. when we log in were stuck cant message anyone. Please help.

I updated fine, logged and tried to jump into a tier 2 gate. Started at Moorcroft and the game randomly locked up on me. Closed and restarted the game and upon logging into my character, the game immediately froze.

As soon as I tried to join tier 2 party, screen gets black although all the interface is still there.

Frozen Black Screen
Game Froze as I went solo at a T3 gate.
Black screen as described above.
Rejoining only brings me back to same frozen screen thus I cannot play.

Same here.
After patch I logged in and loaded the arcade OK, but attempted to join a party and instead of a loading screen I have the usual interface but nothing else (all black). Game freezes shortly after that and I need to force the program to close.
HALP!
PS tried restarting the game, rebooting the computer, etc. no difference - after log in I go straight to black screen w/ interface and then crash.

Its happen twice now
I close spiral knights and relogin and im back the Haven...and so i decided to give it another try
Join a party at depth 13 basil :D everything fine....then i decided to go solo and BAMMMM BLACK SCREEN AGAIN.
Support isn't much of help right now. I've messaged them alot of times but they are slowly replying back...Geez how long does it take to reply back a simple message. Honestly i've paid alot for this game on CE and this is what i get!!! and worst of all Spiral Knights or should i say OOO didn't mention anything about compensating me, which therefore means i wont get anything back!!

game loaded fine for me the
game loaded fine for me the 2nd time, no freeze at login, first gate on far left t1 loaded fine, second gate t2 (where it froze for me last time) still black but didn't freeze this time, other in party also see black, but can still type

Now i can't even close the game
I can't close the game because its frozen. I tried to force shut down the program and reload again and it does the same thing....BLACK SCREEN and Frozen. What am i suppose to do now? :(((

not sure if this is related
not sure if this is related but i've never had lag issues before but immediately after the update i started constantly getting weird lag spikes constantly, other people in my group said they were getting lag as well.
yep, same thing, after restarting the game after the new patch, when i try to load a gate, i see all the stuff on the corners of the screen right away, with no loading screen, and the whole screen is black except for the corners, and the game has frozen competely
maybe in the process of fixing something, they ending up breaking the game with the patch?
