It's been a little while since I finished these, but I felt it would be a shame not to share them with people, after I put the effort in.

Drew both of 'em in Photoshop CS3. Digital painting is a hobby of mine that I find extremely satisfying anf fun, but I need to do more stuff! Especially to do with Spiral Knights!

EDIT: I will take requests if anybody miht be interested. I ask no payment, but in return will give no extensive guarantees. I'll make a list if for whatever reason more than a couple of people are interested. I am doing this as practice and an act of good will :P.
IF you want me to draw something for you, just tell me who/what you want drawn and maybe a possible style or technique (within reason; I'm not that great yet), and I'll let you know what I think.

Try to get over that view. No reason to feel bad about being paid for some hours of work, even if it's work you enjoy. Not saying you -should- charge anything, if you enjoy doing free art for people, that's great! People love free stuff, particularly quality stuff. :) Just don't feel guilty about asking for something in return, your stuff is worth stuff. :o

When you say you're taking requests.. would you be willing to do specific knights? Or just like general characters.
I'd looooove love love my knight to be drawn, if you confirm specific I'd be happy to post lots of pics or meet in game, if you don't do specifics, I'd like to request.. to request.. umm, the only thing I can think of is Royal jelly, but he's a little blobby, maybe a cute Wolver? So many things that'd look great with your art, so hard to pick there.

Once you do get time, btw, I'd love to do something like an art trade with you, if that tickles your fancy. Art trade rather than request because, well, I guess my stance on free stuff kinda showed earlier; basically I would feel bad if I asked for something without offering anything in return. :P So yeah, if you're interested I would find this neat (and likely ask for a pic of my knight).

I don't like the actual Dread set a ton cause of how it just looks on a knight, proportions mainly, but that design in art form would be fabulous.

When's his birthday, Xair? As I mentioned I'm not going to be able to start work on these for another week or so due to exams... Also, I can't see the screenies of him; probably because I'm not his steam friend. No qualms with the other requests so far, although I'm getting about 3 times as many as I expected :P

I can't say I know what I'd want on the other side of the art trade, though. Let me think.
EDIT: Ok, Naero, I want you to draw a Devilite coming home to his "wife" from work. Get creative with it :P

:o you're pretty fantastic. Could I be a complete pain and ask for a fairly big image to make my desktop background? I definitely want to pay for it and I'm happy to wait as long as it takes, I don't want to be a burden.

If that's okay, then brace yourself for the description:
My screen size is 1366 x 768 but I'd prefer it to be smaller than that because of my desktop icons. I'm thinking around half that size, depending on what sort of shape you want to make it.
This is my knight; I wear full skolver and I'd like the spiky mohawk to blend into the cap more (it looks elevated to me). I'd like to be running away from a group of three knights; one charging an Ash of Agni, one waving a Combuster and one with a Voltaic Tempest in a fiery setting with the words "Roast Duck" somewhere (I'm picturing it above us all). The basic idea is that my friends want to roast me. :[ So I'd like them to look hungry and me to look scared, if facial expressions are possible (I understand if they're not as all we ever see are our eyes).

Sorry to be a pain, I really hope you'll be able to do this. If not, your work is still amazing!

Edit: I presume this is the best place to edit things? What with all the accessories and colour changes (and ADD about my costume), I've changed my appearance. If edits are inconvenient, don't worry about it. :]

Which weapons, if any, you draw him with doesn't really matter. Whatever you think looks better. I don't really use the Peacemaker for the record, but I tossed it in there because it looks fancy and suits the rest.

Style doesn't matter either; as long as you emphasize how awesome, righteous and god-like I am. "God King Emperor" Taz. Oh yes.

In terms of colour, I'm quite fond of navy blue and white, if that wasn't already obvious. Dark backgrounds are preferable.

Hopefully that's enough for you to go off. I'd like you to go with whatever you feel like most, though. My vague preferences are secondary, s'long as it's my character.

Either press the Print Screen [PrtScn] key, then paste it into paint and cut out the part you want. [AKA Cropping.]

Or just press the F12 key while playing Spiral Knights. [It should place a screenshot on your desktop.]

Then upload the image using something like imgur.com, photobucket.com, etc.

Anyway, my request is for some art of my knight Dirty-Harry. Take however long you need to, absolutely no rush!

You can make him sitting down with a snipe on his hat, in action with a Callahan/Sentenza (or both!), whatever you feel like doing with it is OK with me. The only thing you need to worry about is making it so he doesn't look evil or mean (he's gentle on the inside).
