What exactly constitutes each? I can't really tell, even after playing Lockdown for a while.

Capture is changing a base to
Capture is changing a base to your color, in all cases. Defends are where someone is changing your base, but you kick them off and refill it before they change it to neuteral. To my understanding that is.

stats
A capture is being on the base when it changes to your team's color. A defend is killing a member of the other team near a base of your color.
These are just "fun stats". What matters in the game is your team's score, nothing else.

@Gyre-Of-Guile Huh, that's odd. Is the "defend" based on where you are, or where they are when they die? I get the feeling I might be killing people too far away when I'm standing on a friendly control point and spamming shards everywhere.

For captures, I assume it's capturing a "neutral" pad while defend is to recapture an enemy flag?
