So, I'm gonna start this off by saying it's been a few years since I dusted off my tablet, so don't expect a masterpiece here. That said: http://imgur.com/7pcDQ

I hope you'll be able to figure out which are which. The scale looks a bit off in the picture, but just imagine them roughly the size of a 5* brandish.

All these swords are split pierce/normal, with the exception of the blast-cube based ones. They're heavy two-swing swords with an attack pattern basically like the sealed line. The status variants trade off some damage for the status abilities

Jelly Club: The basic 2* sword. Charge attack deals about twice the knockback and damage, but is otherwise unremarkable.

Brute Jelly Club: 3* crafted from the Jelly Club. Same charge attack.

Rock Jelly Club: 4* crafted from the Brute, and again same charge attack.

Royal Jelly Staff: 5* crafted from the Rock. Charge attack is a triple spin advancing in the direction of the attack.

Ice Jelly Club: 4* crafted from the Brute. Same basic charge attack, but for each enemy struck, 1-2 frost pellets bounce off and shatter into a small freeze mist cloud.

Ice Queen Sceptre: 5* crafted from the ice. Charge is a spin attack like the Royal Jelly Staff, 1-2 frost pellets per enemy per hit.

Quicksilver, Oiler and Toxigel clubs: 4*, 5* crafted from the Brute. Charge attack is a single swing, spawning 1-2 (4*) or 2-3 (5*) little goo blobs per enemy hit that scatter a short distance and burst into tiny status clouds.

Blast Cube, Super Blast Cube and Ultra Blast Cube clubs: 3,4,5* crafted from the basic Jelly club. Deal pure normal damage. Charge attack is a single swing dealing the same basic damage as a normal swing, but spawning 1-2 (3*), 2-3 (4*) or 3-4 (5*) explosive pellets per enemy hit.

Animation: first swing similar to sealed but it finish with a smash, like Vana or a troika charge.
But coul they be more sci-fi or 100% jelly? A wood stick stands out from all our other futuristic gear.

A metal stick would probably look nice. I was thinking of sticking a silver one in the royal/icequeen one, but I got lazy.

I kinda made somethin' similar but I feel like postin' it here's gonna be shameless promotion SO

Personally, I'd change the Royal Jelly Club to look more scepter-like. Somethin' a bit more REGAL.

Rock Jelly Club's pretty good lookin', I should've went somewhere like that

handle

it could be swallowing the knights hand or there is a metal beam completely in it and the knight holds on to that?

@Spyash Well, the concept I drew up has a handle stuck in the jelly. I don't think it would fit with other weapons to have some sort of jelly-mitt.

this is actually pretty cool,

this is actually pretty cool, only one problem. The enemies that it is effective against would kill you if you used it since its a slow sword(devilities and wolvers).

@Negimasonic I dunno, people

@Negimasonic I dunno, people apparently use DA on devilites and GF on wolvers already, so arguably these would at least work better than that.

@Happyapathy They do look delicious, don't they?

Idea for charge attack: Same vertical hit as troica's but without dash. When swung, club extends and hit straight line (4 squares) then its end stick to floor and pulls ur knight (who smashez enemies and deal pushback/damage) forward 4 squares . So u hit-->dash/push/hit. Thats it. Or it might just act as a "fat" whip spinned around like calibur..

Uhh... I really can't see how these swords would be piercing. Imagine irl getting hit with a giant frozen lollipop, it wouldn't pierce you, like a final flourish for example.

@Miiyu I can't imagine how a regular jelly or lichen would be piercing either, and yet here we are.

Good idea overall, but the

Good idea overall, but the charge (as stated) seems a bit overpowered (unless it's too unpredictable to be useful), and you'd have to add more spikes to justify it being pierce damage

Agree! These are awesome, who wouldn't want a giant frozen dessert to smash your enemies into oblivion? xDDD
As for the handle, I would suggest having a longish spike (kinda like those spike projectiles from lichen colonies/snarble barb/spike shower lines), with the pointy end as the handle, and the other end stuck in jelly...or vice versa :D

I love all of these, but

I love all of these, but would like to offer an idea for the charge attack. Maybe, instead of explosions, spikes could come out of the ground in a line. It would basically be the same charge attack, with the same hitbox, but with a different animation, kinda like the animation for a jelly ranged attack.

@Nicoya: (yes, it's a bit late and you probably know it now but) lichen tackles are normal damage.
In the same manner, the 2* version could deal pure normal damage (like a Brandish), and start dealing spilt normal/pierching once it starts getting upgraded and gains spikes.

@Stavrosg Only the non-status lichen tackles are normal damage. Oilers, Quicksilvers, Toxigels, Slooms and Void Gels are all pierce.
