So for some reasons I'm guessing would be better left undiscussed I was unable to post here for a while. And now I'm back... Hopefully this time I'll control my swearing and spoiler habits.

Because I've returned after a while, I'm making a new thread for my Spiral Knights creative stuff. Drawings and Spiral-Spy renders and whatnot. Anyway, since I don't have an awful lot of Spiral Knights related fanwork yet, I'm gonna be posting all of the artwork. All of them.

But before I do that! Have a bit of a content warning: I AM A NASTY SADIST AND I LIKE FICTIONAL VIOLENCE. IF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH OF A WARNING I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.

First we have drawings and somesuch

Her name is Greenhorn and YES, you will be seeing a lot of her. Sorry about that. Those three images were a page of sketches I made one day out of sheer boredom and a desire to post something here.

And here is an MS-Paint+Mouse drawing featuring her and a Spookatgirl: 4

And yeah, that was all repost. Here's a new drawing for you: 5. See if you can come up with a caption for it.

Now! We come to the Spiral-Spy scenes and gimcrackery! Because I love Spiral-Spy and will probably send 1023241 pizzas to the programmer once I get the money to do so.

These two are meh. I was fiddling with gears and auras and things. Also that expression had to use a custom texture. A bit unethical, possibly, but yeah.

These three are probably the first time I bothered placing things tile-by-tile. Also I learned how to attach things to models (without which this image would have been impossible because the Greavers kept flapping up and down). And that the 5-Star Brandish skins are palleteswaps of the Leviathan Blade skin.

The other character in this one is what my Knight ingame looks like. Because I finally figured out how to get these weird Proto Helm models to look like the Breaker helms.

Okay, that's a lie. There is one more image I have to share. HOWEVER, I think it breaks the Terms of Service... if you want to see, I suggest you send me an in-game message...

I'll give you a hint as to what it contains though. It involves a file called Ambient_oozepour.dat and a helmet-less Knight model.

You have a headless knight with a fountain of green (unless you can change its color) ooze spraying out from its decapitated head in all gruesome horror movie fashion.

Yeah, you may have noticed I've done a fairly large amount of digging in the files myself from my work...

Can figure out from just reading the name of the file there but I know exactly what you mean.

I had to look up the first one, can see where you're coming from with that and the Beastboy... but I can't quite grasp the link between Raven and Devil-Ōeru (gratuitious weeaboo-language usage ahoy!). I'm thinking an expression like the one in the drawing would be a bit out of character, plus that's the wrong shade of purple altogether lol.

dsfdsaf I should make a new version of image 5.6 that uses less blatantly spoiler-tastic textures. Chances are though, a few of you have already seen it. I posted it on the Spiral-Spy site gallery and somebody put it up on their Tumblr.

Raven, weeeeeeell. This is a bit more of my own sort of thing. I usually associate Raven with beastboy cuz they used to be an item. Or something. In the comic series, it never started in the cartoon.

That being the stuff behind it, the association started with the purple ><

BBxRae=my favourite TT pairing :D Well, the only one I know and like. The backstory and all that contributes. I read most of the fics on them in Fanfiction.net.

Don't like it how they end up dying in some of them -_- brutally. Or sadisticly.

I think I know what caused your eyes to crash...

Most images are sorted into the usual .png .jpg .gif sort of thing right? Well there is something else too...

In GIMP, under Mode there is an option to change the type of picture, between RGB, Grayscale, and Indexed. Indexed is for the most part the only one that Spiral Knights can handle, as RGB implies transparency.

However, while Indexed allows users to save a lot of memory by reducing the image quality a tad and removes transparency, there is also a little tidbit which makes it remove a lot of your tools (such as smooth edges...).

The only files of which it is not Indexed style would include certain spec files or textures that need to be transparent, for example, that glow on the Vog Cub Caps? That is an RGB texture file.

Therefore, the eyes are Indexed, which means that most likely the eyes you were creating were RGB in style. I hope this helps when you make some more eye styles later.

I know for a fact that you use Photoshop, but I think you should be able to find the feature that allows you to change between RGB/Grayscale/and Indexed.

An entirely different knight. If I ever want to render Indigo be assured he will almost near always be sporting Heavy Plate Mail and Dragon Scale helm and a pair of wings. The Mining Helmet and Cuirass is what he used to wear before until he found the Shadow/Phantom/Dark Cutter and the dark spirits within it told him he needed to re-do his wardrobe if he wanted to be taken seriously.

Anyway, what I meant was that she's called "Greenhorn" because that's a word for a newb, which is what she is. Her actual color is Aquamarine because I feel it it complements the rest of the armor better.

Katmask dude is same murderous guy from an earlier image except I've retconned him to not be a jerk to Greenhorn and until I get a better name for him I'm just calling him Katze, which is German for cat. Hooray.

Greenhorn: "Did you get through to HQ yet?"
Katze: "No, it's no good. The radio's acting all weird. All I get is this weird moaning sound"
Greenhorn: "It's freezing in here, SOMETHING managed to put INDIGO of all people on ice, and then there's those VOICES in your radio! What's going on!? I'm scared..." *almost sobbing*
Katze: "Don't fret, Green. I'm sure HQ won't let us down... I'm sure they're sending a rescue team down here this minute.."
*some time later*
Greenhorn: "It's... so... cold"

If it was actually possible to get that Armor and that Helm in those particular colors in-game, I'd definitely go for this as a costume. Tail and Vile Striker optional.
No spoilers here because that color of Drake/Wyvern/Dragon Scale Armor can be seen in the Steam Launch trailer and one of the game's artists has drawn a Knight wearing a Ember/Fire/Blaze Break Helm that's been recolored to one of the starter armor designs.

However, I didn't make that. And the bad thing is I forgot to ask the creator if I wanted to use it. And it isn't really how the moaning Katze is referring to sounds. It's actually there since I made the scene while listening to it and got inspired to do the little creepypasta segment because of it. So it's more like a guideline of how the moaning sounds.

The creator is the amazing CosbyDaf, who used/made it for his epic awesome NES Godzilla Creepypasta which has the sort of quality all true videogame creepypastas strive four *raises finger into air*

That big guy is Indigo. Notice the file name and then notice test-tube in his hand, which he is holding up to Greenhorn's face/eye.

The Zombie is just telling the story of how he got stuck as a mindless shambling piece of cannon-fodder, and it's either just that sad, or Greenhorn is just that sentimental.

I took advantage of the forum downtime to upload all the UNREAL AIRS onto the Spiral Spy website's gallery.

AND I finished a new drawing in MS-Paint

You know that earlier post I made where I showed a character made using Spiral-Spy who was sporting a Military Wolver Tail and similarly-colored variants of the Emberbreak/Firebreak Helm and the Spiral/Drake Scale Mail? I drew her in MS-Paint.

And because I felt like it I also recolored her to the "Cool" colorscheme and gave her a prismatic Wolver Tail.

I also drew the Tailed Helm differently from how it looks in-game because artistic liberties- and hey, I was ALREADY taking a few liberties by depicting armor/helm variants that aren't accessible under normal circumstances.

Now, if only it was possible to actually obtain this costume in-game...
