Seeing that Blast Network is pretty much dead and Lockdown is what it is, I've been thinking of a new mini-game concept that emphasis more teamwork and clockwork skills. I got the idea from another game I've been playing and the concept is nothing new. I'm sure it's found in many other games.

Object of the game: to protect a central building/object while fighting off waves of enemies level by level.

Outline: Waves start off easy and gradually get tougher and tougher. Enemies can drop vials/hearts/pills/rems - same system as a normal clockworks level, so everything that drops will increase in power as the levels pass. The central object starts off with max health and if it gets damaged, there will be a special enemy that spawns after a certain number of levels that you can defeat to refill a set amount of health back to the damaged object. After let's say 10 levels, there will be tough mini-boss(es) with an ultimate boss at the end.

Enemies: their initial path of attack will be towards the object, but players can work together to kite them away using whatever weapons they have. Stationary enemies like howlitzers and gun puppies can spawn outside the range of the central target and can act as enemy support.

Each class of knight will have their opportunity to be effective. Bombers have a whole arsenal of status bombs, strikers will be dps-based and gunners can pick off enemies. Bombers and gunners also have DPS options, so they won't be limited.

This mini-game will gave way to more rankings, which people love to see. Rankings can include how many levels a team completes, the time it takes and the names of each player. Similar with Lockdown, there will be 3 tiers, each with their own ranking system, but unlike the Lockdown queue system, this mini-game will allow you to form your own team from your friends/guild list.

Krogmo coins can be rewarded depending on the number of levels completed.

Other ideas:

There could be special slow-healing health pads that are dropped down by supply ships after a select handful of waves. These pads will expire and will act as little breaks for Knights to discuss strategy and heal up.

What do you think?

been wanting some sort of

been wanting some sort of suvival mode feature, and this is sorta close.

not a bad idea. although all the fun ideas seem to get ignored, unless they can attach a decent CE charge to try it.

Energy

Energy could be expended through revives and if the game if the difficulty is balanced so that the damage players doll out is balanced with the difficulty of the enemy - similar to how it works in the clockworks - then it could work.

Please no energy costs. This

Please no energy costs. This is a Coliseum game, right? Those cost no energy, only crowns. I really like this idea, but I don't wanna have to pay energy like I do for most everything else.
