Dear Forum & Developers,
I have an issue to raise, what gives any party leader a right to ban a player that has been playing properly and co-operating for many stages where the party leader suddenly could have a friend wanting to play, banning a random player however he/she wants to allow the friend to come in. It's totally unfair for the banned player whom done nothing wrong, who's not even idling and has played with nice teamwork for the previous few levels.
My scenario:
I was playing properly with a party all the way till Royal Jelly Palace, I co-operated, revived dead teammates, etc. but was just banned just because the party leader wants to let his/her friend come and leech the Royal Jelly Palace's loot without having to travel all the way down himself/herself.
My suggestion:
For this game, there's only pretty much a need to ban idling players. The server can set a time for idling during dungeons and auto-ban after a set number of minutes, actually 1 minute will do since the game requires to be consistently participating in the fight. It could be longer for clockwork terminals.
Either that or set a voting system for banning people if there's a need to for people with serious personality/co-operation. For a party of 2, there's no need for voting so one player or the other can ban the other, leaving both refreshed the dungeon level alone, for a party of 3, 2 or more will a banning vote and 4 would be 3 or more.
Last but not least, it is possible set joining to only be allowed at terminals, therefore, no one can take advantage of saving to travel down levels.
For the majority joining of parties, it's a major chance to join at terminals so I guess this isn't a bad idea. Alternatively private games could allow friends to join at any level instances, but definitely not for public.
Ending Sentence:
Sorry, I just find this too absurd, for innocent players whom have been playing proper and abiding rules, having fun with a "party" until a sudden, a party leader can turn his/her face around, banning teammates just to allow a guild-member/friend to come in with deeper-level advantage without having to progress through levels slowly.
I hope I get my message across folks reading this,
Thank You,
GallantBrave.
>.> *cough* I kicked someone would was speaking portuguese today, we weren't working together more than 5 minutes though. I'm fine with working with people of different languages and cultures but when I don't understand, continuing to speak kind of distracts me from battle and my guild messages >.> However, one of the other guys did understand him but that's not my issue (being selfish >.>)
Anyway, I kind of support instant kicking for whatever reason no matter how petty it is. Voting would take time away and if you had another afk user for whatever horrible reason, then you'd have to wait on them as well.
There's always a jerk out there, whether its me (which actually that's my first non disconnection, non asked kick) or someone else, but there's another side to the issue, what if someone joins up with ya with a friend, and they basically just sit there, just because they can, refuse to fight, and naturally they're not going to allow you to kick either one. They could just do it to be annoying (I can seriously see someone doing this.)
I think a lot of people value the ability to join parties anywhere as well. When you choose join party, usually I do hope I skip a level or two. It's rather disappointing to end up at a subtown basically wasting 10 energy just to start from the beginning. On the other hand, some people like hoping they end up at a clockworks terminal to save them time because they are recipe hunters. And so on and so forth. There's too many varieties of people and not enough customization on how you can join a party. (There used to be a bit more in beta but not anymore...)
Back on topic, so instead of voting or forbidding entry at certain levels, I say if you get kicked from a party, you should be allowed to invite another party member to follow you at no extra energy cost (since you're in the same instance anyway), in case they feel sympathetic to your cause or whatever. Perhaps even the ability to invite friends who are on the same floor (but that could be exploited so probably not).
