Swap Graveyards and Candlestick Keeps

On a random level Treasure Vaults are supposed to be 'good' and Graveyards 'bad'. However, I would personally prefer a Graveyard to a Treasure Vault, as Graveyards are pretty easy with a competent party, whereas Treasure Vaults don't pay out too well.

I know there is one level those which many knights strive to avoid, and those are the Candlestick Keeps. They are pretty hard and have a relatively low payout.

My suggestion is to make Graveyards a normal level, and put Candlestick Keeps in random levels as the booby prize.

People that hate candlestick can wait it out in most cases.
Everybody loves Graveyards, it could become the new arena, with parties waiting for them to switch.

I like your arguments, but i think i wont tolerate the annoyance.

Graveyards were stuck as

Graveyards were stuck as random for two reasons:
a/ Scary as hell! (used to be, at least)
b/ Epic heat payout.

Everyone loves GYs becasue they have amazing heat payouts. The treasure vaults have decent-ish crown payouts, hold no danger and are completed fast, allowing you to move on. Both are desirable in their own way, having GYs are a set map would just hold everyone aiming for it.

Altough I do think all the candlesticks should be in random floors as well (instead of just some of them), instead of CW Tunnels or w/e crap it is you get.

Um

Not to brag or anything, but since when were Graveyards scary or annoying? Even before the massive zombie nerf, you just bring 4 guys with elemental swords and guns and nothing can even get close. Divine Avenger/elemental Brandishes = zombie massacre; Polaris or Nova Driver + Dread Skelly Shield/Crest of Almire = phantom out of the way.

They're the scary floor for T1s who don't have 4 weapon slots and every type of weapon, boss weapons and 5* gear.

@Metagenic Were you here before the respawn time for the phantoms was increased? It was, when solo, kill phantom, kill 4-5 zombies, and the phantom would be already be on you.

Actually, I was wondering

Actually, I was wondering that myself. They must have done that while I was inactive after summer, because I could have sworn I remembered them respawning absolutely constantly; you could just never get away from them, and in parties of 3/4 that meant more time killin' them than zombies.

Kept thinkin' I was just imaginin' that they were spawning slower though...oh well, good to know my memory isnae lyin' to me!

Eh…no, I don't remember that happening. I started playing the game in September last year.

Oh no, they fast-respawned earlier than Sept. for sure. Think closer to summertime; if you only started in Sept. you'll have missed it. GYs were a hell of a lot harder back the...well, for me at least, but I was also T1 so what do I know, eh?
