Welcome to my crazy FSC running thread! - I know Shadow Lairs are technically end-game, but I'm an elitist preview player that reminisces about the good ol' days, on the other hand, if you didn't pick up on that at all, there's noting to worry about! x)
PLEASE DON'T POST YOUR ROLE INFO, STEAM NAME ETC. IN THIS THREAD ---> There's 2 parts to the "initiation", with specific instructions, which I've listed below.
1) Firstly, read through this post, yes it looks like a lot, but I'm offering a pretty rad service that I think a lot of people may be interested in.
2) The second part of initiation is reading the info on the website which I've linked at the bottom of this post.
So! The aim of this event: I need players to be dedicated dungeoneers for a trial period, the more the merrier because not EVERYONE is going to be online ALL the time. It'd be extremely preferable for them to be 5 star, skilled players to achieve the best experience for the run, although, I'll welcome any exceptionally skilled players who have 4 star gear that are planning on upgrading.
The aim has been slightly changed since I started the thread, and it is: To cram as many runs into a single day as possible via this method, the initial goal was 10, so let's see if we can match that, or even break it (provided there's a run that includes 4 Asians)!
Steam Group Idea Suggested By: Squishat [Post #]
So, let's get the most tedious part out of the way, although it takes about a minute to do, if not less. It's pretty much essential that you create a Steam account to take part in this, I get no personal satisfaction from seeing you whine over not wanting to create an account, it's for the benefit of the event and more-so yourself. The idea is that you sign up to Steam and sign into your Steam account whenever you're on Spiral Knights.
You don't have to bind your Steam account to your Spiral Knight's account, although, it could be helpful. I just recommend that you read up on how it works because it IS a one way procedure, thus making your account bound to Steam... Forever *evil genius laugh*. But in all seriousness read up on Steam account binding. I'm sure it's in your least interest to have your account bound to Steam when you didn't want for that to happen and even worse; not having a time machine at hand to go back in time and stop it from happening.
Another thing to add, to make it easier to identify whos account is linked to which Knight, I've decided to use a naming policy.
When you make an account and join the Steam group, at the top of your client you should see a "Friends" tab, click it and then hit "Change Profile Name...", add your Knight's name to the end of your steam name in Square Brackets, e.g. "Steam Name[Your Knight's Name Here]". This will make it clear as to who is who on Spiral Knights.
So! About that Steam Group, hopefully Steam is a program that some of you are already familiar with, if not just type "Steam" into Google and shazam! click on the first link, then move your eyeballs to the top right of your screen, click on "login" and after the page has loaded, hit the lovely green "JOIN STEAM" button. With your newly made Steam account you'll need to join the Steam group and leave Steam running while you're playing Spiral Knights.

Do note: The Steam group is invite only, how you get in is explained later when you read the website info.
_~Steam only takes up 15MB of RAM while minimized to the system tray, so don't worry about it eating up your RAM!~_
By creating an account, joining the group and following the naming policy, you've just made it a damn lot easier to keep track of who is online which will later become clear when you visit the website later on in this post.
The next part is kind of filler material, just some background information, so it's not essential to read it.

Straight up, I suck at merchanting, I've never been a relatively rich player in most games because I sucked at merchanting and any grinding/farming I did would be interrupted by almost anything, seeing as grinding and farming is insanely boring, so ANYTHING other than grinding seemed interesting after doing (sometimes only a portion of) the tedious task.
Is this Razorlined's get rich quick scheme? No!... Far from it, at least that's what my thoughts are telling me...
This, is Razorlined's... *takes a deep breath* If-you-also-suck-at-merchanting-and-don't-get-bored-easily-and-you're-a-better-fighter-than-money-maker-but-want-to-earn-a-serious-sum-of-crowns-then-read-on... Scheme.

So, let's talk FSC. You accumulate 7-8k raw crowns per run, plus tokens, which are worth 3k (when you have 30 tokens, you can vendor Ancient Plate Armour and receive 30k crowns). In total that's about 10k per run, give or take 100k per 10 runs, which is why it'd technically be 100k/day for those people who bother with the petty thing called "sleep". :>
"Sure! It's a fairly slow way of getting crowns compared to other methods, but it's a sure-fire way to get them!" said Joe Bloggs.
I've soloed FSC in under an hour, so with multiple theories floating about arguing which is the better way, whether it be a duo, three-man party or a full party, I think you'll be involved in enough runs for you to decide which of the theories you support. I'd like to see how this pans out over a week trial period to get a feel for whether this would be a long term viable option or whether it's a straight up no-no.
So, let's get down to business.
I'm usually online around 4PM GMT and sometimes get on earlier Tuesdays and Fridays. I usually sleep whenever my head starts to hurt.
Also, here's a convenient "Time Zone Map" to work out what time 4PM GMT is in your time zone. - http://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/
Keeping this thing organised isn't per say "easy", so I've created a website - the very same that I mentioned earlier - which is also the 2nd part of the initiation into this event.
After you've read through the Home Page of the website you should be pretty well informed as to what to do.
