5* spur, winfinity.

I know there have been lots of 5 star spur ideas, but heres another one.

winfinity- deals normal damage, and like the winmillion, it shoots out projectiles with every attack. but it has a low chance to shoot out a random colored projectile that deals a status effect. its similar to the sealed swords charged, but longer range.

charge attack- a spin that hits 1-2 times, and shoots out normal projectiles in 8 directions away from you, and 2-4 of those are one of the status ones.

appearance- similar to winmillion, but colored golden. The spinning motor is like the ones in the 2*-4* versions, but it changes colors. (colors like the status effects, green: poison, red: curse, orange: fire, etc.)

so what do you think? im open to suggestions and changes.

Good idea, and if they ever make it, I'll come and clap for you the whole day in Haven.

Eh

I've nothing much to add, seeing as I've never actually USED a Spur...

But wasn't the name 'Winfinity' used in another '5* Spur' thread?

I don't think it matters

I don't think it matters where it was used, unless its copyrighted or something.

Yes, in another thread, it was either Nicoya or Juances who said 'Winfinty'. I can never remember between them because they used the same avatar.

But yeah, like Fehzor said, to reference where you got an idea from is out of respect, since the idea belongs to no one.

I just want it to exist.

Seriously, I don't care what they call it, or really even what it does ... I just want a 5* Spur to exist! The Winmillion is just about my favorite sword ...

LOL

@Fehzor DON'T EVEN JOKE ABOUT THAT. PLZ.

Anyway, I've heard that the only reason why people discontinue the use of their Spurs is because it caps at 4*. I remember some guy with a Winmillion once going "WHEE! Bullets everywhere! pewpewpew!!!" or something, then getting bummed when he realized there wasn't a 5*.

So yeah, sure why not?

Eh...

@Fehzor oh god...it was painful enough just reading that thread. DON'T BRING BACK THE PAIN.

I'm kinda with Psycho and Tevokkia on this one. I don't use a spur (or any sword really, but that's beside the point), but I know people that have a lot of fun with it before switching to another line because of the lack of a 5* spur. So I don't really care what it does, but give these people some hope. Any future is better than no future.

As for naming, though, I'm not so sure I like winfinity. It seems a bit too gimmicky for a weapon.

@Severage

I can't really tell if you're agreeing with me or what, but in any case that just makes it seem more gimmicky to me...

@Schattentag:

Yes, I was emphasizing its 'gimmicky-ness'.

I don't think it should start with 'Win', to be honest. It's Spur...Arc Razor..Winmillion. All are uniquely named, not sure why people's imagination stops when it comes to 5* ideas, and they feel they have to name it something close to the 4*.

Huh

How about 'Rotorwind'? Thiught it might tie in with the engine-thingy, assuming it would generate a wind effect to increase it's speed.

EDIT: I'f that's not good enough, I'll post my other crappy name ideas in case one of them is worth something. I suck at naming, but someone sometimes takes a liking to one.

Common concept within the sword lines

Usually the 5* name recycles a portion of the 4* to make it easily identifiable. However, I also must note uniqueness of the spur... Winfinity does not capture it's true level of win. Since Norris isn't a name I'd advise for a sword....

Vortex Squall? Dunno

Oh no, please no Winorris or Wintesta swords.

Squall is a nice, uncommon word, but it doesn't really sound intimidating like the more commonly used 'Tempest' or 'Gale', unfortunately

Squall kinda sounds like....a scribe...or...maybe a rodent that eats acorns?

Heheheheheheeee!

Thunder Squall! (Referring i think to a small, but strong sea-bound storm)
Damage: Normal
Effects: Slight chance of Strong Shock
Other: Gets a slight speed boost over Winmillion. Combo projectiles go through targets. Charge time is long and makes a small tempest that has a tiny vortex effect, Good chance of Strong shock.

WINTASTIC THERE! >:3

Taking it back...

I originally cast my vote for a 5* in the Spur line, because it bugged me any line could stop at 4*... But Winmillion is already such a kick@$$ sword that I can see why the line stops at 4*... So I withdraw my vote...

And don't care what it is called, therefore... -1
