I like to play Support. It's a nice change from being one of those damage-bonus-max-swordsmen-who-think-they're-cool-with-their-awesome-UVs.

But I'm going to lean towards the bomber class here. I understand that bombers are the "mages" of the game, and thus we have great crowd control (shivermist, voltaic) and AOE debuffs (venom veiler is my best friend). Yet, I want to see more support-driven players instead of "lolol I have swards and 1 bomb which is probably shivermist."

Like:

1) A healing bomb, maybe with ridiculous CTR (like Big Angry Bomb) with a relatively small radius, but nonetheless heals.

2) Positive status? We have debuffs (curse, poison, stun) and crowd control (freeze, shock), but maybe we can have a positive status-driven bomb. Think of a chemical bomb that can give a temporary boost to teammates. Possibilities are endless; a status opposite of curse that targets players' weapons for a buff, and they're meant to be driven to use that weapon. Or, we can be boring and have a status opposite of stun for increased attack speed/movement speed. Or a status opposite of poison to increase defense and damage. And to balance this, the status' maybe can't last long, so the "Support" class has to continuously bombspam.

Nevermind bombs, maybe we can have a gun that does this. loltf2medic

3) AoE support bombs, not entirely like above, but more just area-of-effect than status-inflicting. An area of the floor becomes healing aura! Yes, you too can be a gremlin mender.

4) This isn't entirely part of a Support driven class, but perhaps we could have a sword that has a charge attack which entirely doesn't do damage. But instead, it gives the user one of the positive statuses listed before; a self-support sword! For those lonely dungeon dwellers.

Plees dun bash my ideas, I came up with these on my drive to my lecture today.

No healing, sorry

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with anything that heals for free. Otherwise people could just heal themselves during an arena by leaving one enemy alive or in the middle of critical levels, like the depth before JK in between each of the four danger rooms.

However maybe a health transfer could work? (drop a heart by dragging it out of your health bar)
Or off-track completely, healing with mist?

Damage boost would work, but it would be a less danerous ordeal for the bomber. All he'd have to do is stick with his team-mates and drop bombs near/behind them, instead of having to drop damaging bombs right under the enemies noses. Kinda takes the risk out of it. (except shivermist. No risk in dropping a bomb 20 meters away from an enemy and still freezing it)

A self buffing sword? This will, unfortunately, make people more self-supportive in a team, and defeats the purpose of teamwork. People are already painfully non-team orientated, (save the occaisional few) and this would only promote this. However, rather than buffing self, be able to buff one other member with the sword-strike, or gunshot. Area buff is OP.

Not bashing, just constructive critism. I added more ideas into there didn't I?

I heard somewhere that devs have stated in past that there will never be a knight weapon that will heal knights.

If they did that, i completly agree with them.

Healing weapons, no matter what, will always lead to abuses and unbalance in game.
