The MSI buff on the Mercurial set is barely noticeable, and provides basically zero functional value in the clockworks. As a result, very few people bother crafting mercurial (other than as a costume/novelty piece), and instead opt for sets with offensive bonuses like Skolver or Justifier.

Recently I've been playing around with weapons in the Autogun line, and have discovered the magic that ASI works on them to increase mobility. I think it would really help show gunners some love, and increase interest from swordies, if the mercurial set was updated to grant a blanket ASI buff.

There is already a blanket ASI low buff...

And it come at a HUGE cost: Fiend penalty med.... for EACH asi low. It is the Fallen set.

What i would push for instead is MSI low on 3-4* and med on 5*...

it'll balance out the sword bonus for wolver/skolver, and make another good LD armor set. Also the MSI would be great for clockworks if boosted up to med each, you can move out of the way faster; its like ASI, a little wont be noticed that much, and a decent amount will make great things happen.

Mercurial.

I think the only reason anyone would use any sort of Mercurial set, is because of the Demo set.

That said, I wouldn't mind ASI Low added to it, as it matches the theme anyways.

+1 and -1 from me

As a bomber (I should stop posting in threads about swords lol, but this concerns me) I use the merc armor instead of merc demo at times, as a piercing armor, with shock protection too so ASI buff would be nothing to me.
that being said, ASI low, as Severage pointed out, would match the theme, so I also +1 this

ALSO GEEZ FIX THE MSI THING WHERE ITS RED IN MY GEAR SUMMARY ALREADY D:

@Psycho-Dani Yeah, bombers

@Psycho-Dani Yeah, bombers need more pierce and shadow options for sure. Worth another suggestion thread.
