Well, recently my friend got an elevator pass. We generally go on voice chat, even if we're not in the same expedition. Now, while I'm messing around in Haven, I get to hear his panicked screams during a run through Candlestick Keep and his frustration at teammates who use spike shower on constructs and jellies.
Of course, it's entertaining by itself, but I'd like to actually see the action. It'd be nice to see what exactly is going on on his end.
So why not add a "spectate" option for friends in the Clockworks? If you're bored, you can just pop on over to a buddy and see how well he's faring for the Royal Jelly Palace, or how much his teammates are failing on the Thunder Fist Arena, or how bad of a situation he's in when he's in Candlestick Keep.
It'd be for bored knights who are waiting for their energy to recharge. Maybe, you could also spectate a random party from a gate.
To me, it'd be a nice little side feature and something to do when I've only got 5 energy. What do you guys think?
I think it'd actually be quite an interesting feature since there's already a spectator mode for those in dungeons if they died. I think the only issue would be player privacy; there should be an option to at least opt your runs out of spectator mode.
