The main reason im not a gunner is because i hate cowboys... and all the gunner armor besides that mask of seerus looks like cowboy stuff :/

Could we have some kinda tech gunner armor?

Just anything but a cowboy, and something that starts at 2 stars and can be obtainable from everyone.

... Is it to much to ask for? o_o

I mean, most of the guns are tech-ish like the polaris and stuff, yet we only have western style armors. I mean, its cool to mix and match western stuff with tech, but i would like to have a full tech suit as a gunner.

Also, Gunners do need more Variations. I would like to see some sort of 2* Cyclops Set, like a Future Looking Gunner.

I already figured out how they would work too, but...dude...so much work...not even gonna try suggest it.

The funny thing is, it'd be balanced in the sense that it's either pwn or suck badly. Like, SO badly. Otherwise pwn. A team on 3 snipers+ one backup swordie: pwn.

Then there's the sniper fights...don't even go there...

You like heavy gear? We got heavy plate mail!
You like light gear? We got wolver coats!

You want to be a gunner? Great!

You hate cowboys? .... Go be a swordsman ( or a bomber )

Yeh...But they look stupid on top of helm to me...My idea is to make Headgear ( instead of helm....something like gremlin googles but weared on forehead...u know what i mean) And not helmed part of head will be covered with Hairlike tentacles ( that sound so stupid lol) They will be somewhat darker than your knights skin color ...

@Serell: Aren't Cobalt and Heavy Plate armors technically neutral? They don't have any sword-specific bonuses. So that leaves just Wolver, and I mean, maybe swordsmen don't want to look like they've lived in a forest their whole lives. Sucks. That's why they allow costumes.

Its a Roarpirate suit....YES i like pirates hav problem with that? Cowboys are not knights too.

Hat animated and they bark sometimes...not together ( no projectiles though lol)
And chest cannon is just a shiny thing it doesnt shoot any deathbeam...

Bonuses: Damage bonus versus Construct med per piece(There no such damage bonus armor ingame) + Gun CTR low on both. Or maybe Gun/sword asi low ( For Swordgunners...coz pirates use poth guns and swords...)

NO! If placed on shoulders they will mix with your knights head when he rise his hands... + IT Will look like heavy armor and that will ruin "gunner " in it.
And what do u want to be on head then? A cowboy hat? Some sort of helm? Paint ur own version.. I will check.

P.S. Pirate hat MUST be GIGANTIC! So u can feel urself a CAPTAIN....not one of thoose floorwashers ..

Maybe the helm could be a re-color of the love puppy disguise? possibly?

EDIT : Take severages idea and put two gun puppies as shoulder pads. Just re-size them to something small and it will look really cool and still look like light armor.

Maybe I'll sketch something up on what I wanted it to look like in the future. I don't have the time right now, unfortunately. Here's to hopin' though.

I'd like the Pirate hat to look more like a err pirate..hat...and less like a massive gun puppy hat; yet still somehow retain a 'construct' look. Not sure if that's possible...

PS: They're called Deck-swabbers.

@Serell: No reason to have cowboys since we already have them, I don't think anyone's going to draw up some o' that. There's a 10% chance I'll draw something that I'll actually post up here in the next week...so I hope I'll find time.

I'm sorry, what? I don't think I understand what you're saying. Do you just want armour that looks like gunner armour or ones with actual bonuses for gunners? Because the only armour that gives good bonuses to swordsmen is the wolver armour, all other armours are pretty much multi-purpose. Your point that swordsmen has more armour to wear than gunners is moot in either case because just like you only have the cowboy hat, swordsmen only has the wolver hat. If you want to wear other armour you'll have to sacrifice the bonus on the hat or wear a costume.

I am lovin' that coat part of the armor. The game already has Gun Puppy helmets, similar to that of the Love Puppy Mask, so we could just throw one of those for a helm, and use that long coat of yours.

On the main topic, I propose mobster armor. Fedoras, trenchcoats, the works. Heck, add in a fake rose badge for kicks.

Here it comes! Round 1...

Alright, it's been a long time coming and now I've finally got a preliminary model for my gunner suit. I think the helm needs some work, so I might update this tomorrow/later today.

EDIT: As some of you can maybe tell, I used spiralspy for this, but the images I took from there have been heavily edited. Can anyone figure out what parts I used for the final image? it would sacrifice attack speed, for charge time, damage bonus, and resist to shock (at least the shock puppy one would)

It looks like a cool "Heavy gunner". A heavy gunner series would be neat, sacrificing attack speed for charge time reduction and damage.
I would love to have something like this, i enjoy sacrificing attack speed for damage, this armor would be perfect for my almost-in-my-hands Callahan ^.^

Here it comes! Round 2...

Alright, it's been a long time coming and now I've finally got a secondary model for my gunner suit. Now I'm thinking both pieces might need a bit more work still, so I might update this tomorrow/later today.

Schattentag's Gunner (v2)

Changes:
Lower jaw surgery happened.
Made the "eyes" on the cuffs glow.

If I had one cookie to give you for finding all the parts I used, I would have probably less than half a cookie, but that's better than nothing I suppose.

I took parts from the fire and shock battlepods (that's what they're called I think) for the helmet and slapped 'em onto the base of a Spiral Tailed Helm.

As for the coat, I used Ash Tail. The hands and feet came from the kind of Plate Mail that Spiral Crew members wear. The legs and torso came from a Spiral Cuirass, and the torso decoration came from a T1 Sparky (shock Gun Puppy). The cuffs actually didn't come from Gun Puppies, but rather Mortafires' cannons (which are really just handheld Gun Puppies anyway).

Lastly, the weird swirly effects on the helm/torso decorations came from recolored Catalyzer charges (I think...).

I toatally agree. Wolver to gunslinger, Id choose gunslinger. But i hate the armor! Heres my idea: A completely black (a little modified) Motorcycle helm. (Of course it wouldnt be called that) Maybe kinda like a sonic mask without the ears and black and it could has a visor.

The armor would be a skin tight jumpsuit type thing. And on it, theres a lines that go in different directions on the suit. The lines would be the color of ur personel color.
