Okay i got one Problem with what i Chose this Subject to be.
Yes their are some Pieceing Guns Such as Magnus, Blitz Needle and of Course Antigua.
Now i aint too Happy as i found that a Few People took Notice that Any gun off the line of Antigua lost its Pieceing Ability and isnt as good on some Monsters as it sould.

Their is also one main Problem with this to do with Vanaduke!
Is he a Undead or a Fiend?
I shoot with Elimental Attack yet it doesnt Criti hit Vanaduke.
I shoot with a Blitz needle and Wow! Criti Hit.
If vanaduke is Ment to take Pieceing Damage then they Put him in the Wrong Side of the WIKI!!!

As i am looking for some kind of Pieceing gun i find that Vanaduke is not a Undead he is a Fiend.
But why is it that in the Wiki he is in Undead?

Beats the Hell out of me.

But i want for Vanaduke so it works a Pieceing Attack gun off the Line of Antigua so Atleast its Original Damage Type can be Carryed onwards.

Please Look at the Wiki and see for yourself he is in the Undead Family!
I might not be in the Right fourm for this but i looked to see where it Sould go.

I couldent Chosse so i choose this.

Please Tell me i am Not Misstaken!
And if by any chance you agree with the Gun off the Line of Antigua to be Made.

I'd suspect a more mobile piercing gun in an eventual update.

As for your other question:
His categorization on the wiki is based on what one may typically infer from the lore, but he is technically a Fiend with a slight resist to special damage types.

As stated on the wiki he does NOT fall into any monster category. Read a little more... :P

And therefore, no damage bonuses VS [type] will increase damage against vana. The only way to increase damage against vana is a general damage increase, such as skolver's innate sword dmg med or a damage module trinket.

Couple guns to deal with him: Blitz (hard to use without shiver), polaris (shock and AoE damage for higher chance of hitting him), AP (may lost the piercing but still slightly effective), Valiance (yes it works...) and maybe Neutralizer (stick the charges and watch them blow up =D)

@Kickthebucket yeah, that was what I had thought at first. The reason I got silversix was mainly for its piercing damage, though it has lost it now. Nonetheless I think it still has a some effectiveness.

And sadly Talscar, you are mistaken. Maybe this could've gone to Arsenal. But just get that Vanaduke has NO FAMILY, although he looks like some sort of beast/fiend/undead/ w/e.

Except he isn't weak to pierce damage, blitz needle does only half of its potential damage to him, orange numbers popping up = display bug.

Toothpicks and BTB charge barbs show the same orange numbers. They are piercing too. Is that a bug? Someone take a callahan or something to test? :P

Vana is slightly weak to piercing, and slightly resistant to everything else. That's why he takes more damage than the undeads around him with the same piercing weapon.
