Well I'm glad you asked..

Not my initial idea, but the person is too lazy to post anything. I thought it was a great idea though.

Seeing as it seems that everyone's arsenals are cluttered with unused common materials, it would make sense to be able to use them (a tonne of them) to craft accessories. A small crafting fee perhaps to create each.

As for the different colours (e.g Military / Fancy), perhaps a colour dye? (similar to that of the personal colours). For special colours (Prismatic / Volcanic / Divine), perhaps maybe they require 5 of the regular coloured accessory & an uncommon material to craft them?

Clearly this is just a really unorganised post that isn't really written well at all. It was just a bunch of ideas thrown in. (Quantities of materials / accesssories / crafting fees not entirely thought out)

On a side note, prismatic weapons / shields would be lovely too. If armor can have parts of your own colour, why cant they? ;)

Getting a random accessory

Getting a random accessory requires both an iron lockbox (which is relatively cheap) but a whopping 750 energy. The costs to craft such an accessory would simply have to be astronomical. Furthermore, it might be problematic for the AH as now there is a price ceiling.

Primatic weapons might work.

Craftable accesories would be great, or just SOMETHING to craft with all the hundreds of worthless materials i have.
Even the new prestige missions aren't enough to get rid of all my materials.

Prismatic weapons = Win

@Diabound : These craftable accesories could also cost CE to make, lets just say... oh... 200 CE... plus a ridiculous amount of materials = A small accesory that can not be found in a lockbox. We really need other ways to get accesories, and the lockbox would not be out of business. The craftable accesories could be cooler than the majority of all the crappy accesories you find in a lockbox, but people would still open lockboxs for a chance to get one of the really good ones like the wolver tail.

It would probably have to be a lot and I mean a lot more. Just to open a lock box costs 52,500 (7.5*7000) and sadly a majority of the time seems to yield disappointment.

@Diabound Haha I'm not sure you know entirely what I meant by "(a tonne of them)" but yeah, just initial thoughts is all.

@Serell Yeah I agree, especially now they only ever ask for the higher end materials for the prestige missions, getting rid of these more common materials seems a mile away. There will always be a place for those that like to gamble, perhaps even a "random combination" option where it takes a tonne of mats and you end up getting a random accessory.

Yes, but only endgamers open lockboxs. They have lots of money, and they're going to want to open those lockboxs for a chance at a volcanic wolver tail, an accesory that can not be craftable. There would only be a small amount of craftable accesories, and they would only be cooler than the crappy lockbox accesories, but no way near as cool as the rare stuff in lockboxs.

@Hadn : A place to gamble for accesories...interesting
