I'm simply suggesting new weapons, P stands for primary hand (which is the hand that the sword takes up) S is for secondary, secondary weapons may not charge.
Spray Gun (P/S): A sort of flame thrower like weapon, they're weak however they have a 100% chance to inflict a severe effect (such as burning) Instead of a charge attack they refill their gauge, if the gauge is full and the mouse is released the character causes everything within a 5 man range to be covered with gas (the color of their element) for three seconds which causes the effect to all enemies. But the player's gauge becomes empty. they have enough fuel for five continuous seconds of firing. It takes 8 seconds to fully refuel.
Knives (P/S): Basically a sword but; slightly weaker, shorter range and the user may move while attacking with a minor speed penalty. The charge attack causes the player to spin into a whirlwind for two seconds.
Longsword (P): The player mounts it on his shoulder. Performs slashing attacks that cleave all foes in a cone range. The attack is higher than a sword's but it takes much longer to swing, ( it has a slightly lower dps than swords) The charge attack makes the player smash the ground that damages everyone in a large cone in front of the player with normal damage.
Drill spear (P): When attacking the player lunges for high damage if the player holds the tip of the spear spins hitting everyone it touches, the player can't turn or move. On the charge attack the player drills into the ground and comes out after 3 seconds damaging anyone he comes over. Obstacles still affect him when he's underground and he may not pass under traps (such as spike pits or fire pits)
Boomerang (S): When attacking the player throws the boomerang and it'll start coming back at your like a normal boomerang when it hits it's first object, although that might seem like a one target, it pierces through everyone on it's second trajectory dealing massive damage.
Buckler shield(S): Unlike a normal shield it only shields from what's in front of you, but it shields twice as much.
New weapons categories would be nice. There just isn't enough variation in builds.
