This would be a day or week event where everyone is rewarded for playing withaan accessory and/or costumization item of their choosing.
I would like to propose that we all get one free accesory of our choosing for free for every account who plays. Accesories recieved can not be traded, dropped or sold; The item is bound. This includes every single accessory ever created and rarity.

I would like this to happen because I personaly cannot aford the time to earn the CE to get accessories and I think alot of people out there would like to have an accessory of their liking.

I would also want a free character cusomization item, which include color, eyes, and stature. A knight can only choose one. These gifts would be bound.

I do not personaly need this but since its part of my dream gifts idea I think it works.

I understand that some players would be upset because they feel they have worked and payed money to get to get the accessories they have now, but they are getting one too so what's so wrong with that?

Please tell me what you think. Hopefully we get this!

There is no reason they should give free accessories for any reason, especially if the accessories given out could be any accessory which has existed.

What's that you say? They'd come bound? Well i guess now it would wor- oh wait. No it wouldn't, since now all the accessories will be worthless, since everyone can just ask for the accessory rather than working for it. Not to mention OOO would lose a major crown sink in the featured auctions, which would bring up ce prices. Which would cause people like you to whine for them to go down.

tl;dr : Your intentions are good, but its just not a good idea by any stretch.

First off OOO is already giving free reciepts, accessories, and many other stuff. How would that effect anything especially crowns? Last I checked I played this game for fun not for the economy. get a life.

Secondly, Um it is called dream gifts which getting things that one wants is the point.

The accessories from missions and events are not obtainable any other way and have never been tradable.

"Um" is not a real word. "Barahumpadumplump" is also not a real word.

They give gifts on holidays. Events require users to do something to earn the items. The point of these events is not to throw free items to whining children who expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter.

Only the first letter of sentences and proper nouns are capitalized.

"Cold blooded marauder" is not an insult, it refers to merciless soldiers of war sent by someone who pays them to kill for money; a mercenary. Getting paid to kill incompetent fodder is one of my dream jobs.

I expect a reply along the lines of "this is my thread and only positive comments are allowed so I will report you to nobody". Send this thread to the Graveyard and save time for everyone, including yourself.

On topic: Accessories being given out for free would destroy the huge crown sink OOO is running, which would likely cause CE to go up by quite a bit since people wouldn't spend $ to buy CE so that they can get that fancy accessory they've been itching to get. Realize how accessories take cr/CE out of the game:
1) Featured Auction accessories: Worth millions of cr, takes out a substantial amount of money weekly.
2) Silver keys/lockboxes: Silver keys are 750CE each. 99.9% of accessories on the AH are acquired by the usage of these keys. Lets say there are 1000 accessories on the AH for a random number. That means that as a collective community, 750k CE has been burned on accessories.

Pretty much what you're asking for is free accessories at the price of 10k+ per 100CE. That'll just deter more free-to-play players that could've potentially become paying customers, causing prices to go up even more. Take a look at the big picture, the impact is not always as small as it seems ;)

TL;DR: Way to go implying Sega/OOO employees are what you mentioned in post #7. That's going to make this suggestion implemented for sure.

Well might as well point out the flaws again...
1. What you were suggesting is that every player could choose a accessory of any rarity, and that you wanted a free height+eye change.
Flaws:
Free accessory- OOO limited the choice of accessories to 6 low tier selections that would have little effect on the economy. What you were suggesting is that you could choose almost any accessory, including very rare, high tier ones such as volcanic wings, halos and wolver tails, which would cripple the economy and severely drop the value of these.
As for the free height and eye changes, again OOO has limited the selection. You were suggesting free Vtall/Vshort height mods and any type of eye.. which completely destroys the purpose of mirrored lock boxes.

Another flaw in your idea, mentioned by Asukalan, is that you could simple equip a accessory on an item, unbind it and sell it on the AH. OOO attached the accessories onto proto armor, which cannot be unbound.
..btw how do we have an ego for saying that you can not simply have everything new for free?

The thing added was NOT YOUR GODFORSAKEN IDEA. OOO decided to give players more choice when customizing their characters. Additional customization can come later.

They are NOT FREE ACCESSORIES. 'FREE ACCESSORIES' would be UNBOUND on obtaining them. The UPDATE was for INITIAL CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION.

I would post a personal attack in response to your rude comments regarding, but it would only highlight what a little child you are.

Instead, I will only say that you were a hypocrite in saying what you did, as you have been rejected by the forum community for being such a [prosterior-mouthed] [other insulting word], and being LITERALLY the noob here, as well as it says more about your useless, inflated ego about having to brag about like a lame peacock over your own self-illusions.

I hope you get banned from SK. A single thread and you're already on my bad side.

Those who know me know I don't talk about my own ego much (there being not much to talk about), but for you to get THAT far so soon, it's pretty bad.
