Elevator Passes that can be both traded and activated

I just can't commit to a regular elevator pass. Worse, I want to have friends come along for the long trips.
These problems are right now solved by buying CE and sharing it - which is a so-so solution.
Another functional option would be 2-day elevator passes that I could trade and activate as I want to - seeing the current pricing scheme I would guess $10 for a 10-pack and $20 for a 25-pack. The advantage is I could just pop one when I know I have time to play a lot that day or weekend, thus I wouldn't have to think as much about how much energy I'm spending.
At the $10 for a 10-pack you'd need to complete 35 levels in two days for it to make it pay for itself - at a $10 for a 15-pack would make that 23 levels. So it wouldn't be worth it for just a little playing, but if you had time to burn it could easily be worth it. If the elevator passes were only possible to acquire with real money I don't see major effects on the economy - especially as people who can play 35+ levels a day on a basis frequent enough to affect the economy can already get regular elevator passes.
(And I give this idea freely without expecting compensation. Or even it happening. I do want to see what other forum members have to say, though.)

Apologies for jacking your thread, but I was going to post my own and this is very similar.
An alternative specifically for letting players bring a friend along, assuming that making a trade-able pass is not feasible for some reason, or not desirable since it would become another commodity that players could buy and trade for massive amounts of CE/CR instead of using the CE market could be a sort of "buddy pass."
Basically either a different purchasable pass, or an option when buying an additional elevator pass (instead of extending your current one.)
The idea here is that it's a pass that covers one tabbed player's elevators, instead of your own.
This way you could bring friend who does not have elevator passes, or energy even, with you instead of having to find new people to play with, or ones with passes if your friends can't get an elevator pass for some reason.
I have friends that I'd love to potentially be able to buy an elevator pass for, but I can't. Tabbing them only goes so far, as well.
Being able to tab someone without using energy for a cost could be potentially a simpler way to deal with trade-able passes.
Only problem I see, is players hiring themselves out for free elevators... if that's an important factor to adding something like that to the game. As it is, having an elevator pass makes players able to hire themselves out as bodyguards for missions at almost no cost to themselves, so it's not really that different... :(
Perhaps this could be solved by having the pass equipped to your account, but bound to a specific friend, once you tab them, so you can't use it with anyone and everyone. There'd still be no trading of the pass between players but you could still buy a pass for someone else that way.

I disagree with this idea.Seriously?OOO will be bankrupt under few hours if they even do that.THINK ABOUT IT.You pay around 10k CE,and you can get alot of money by farming alot of FSC/JK under a month.That means,less player buy CE,less money goes to OOO.And not many people will buy CE anymore,leaving the price rise and rise.It could go up to 50k/100 CE under few days.

Rms-Titanic: Your entire post makes no sense considering we have been able to buy elevator passes for several months now, and the economy hasn't collapsed. This would be a more expensive version of the elevator pass that would not last as long, but one you could trade. I don't see how this would affect the economy in any way in comparison to the regular elevator pass.

Oh it would affect if its tradable,F2P player will farm alot of FSC and JK,but it won't affect the CE price too much.Oh and sorry,didn't read all the post.

Doesn't matter if a F2P or a P2P player uses the pass, the pass has been paid for by SOMEONE so therefore OOO has got their profit before the pass is even traded :|

Think of it in terms of CE:
CE may be obtained through direct purchase from the company or bought from other players who did so by using in game currency, crowns. CE is essentially another form of in game currency.
An elevator pass grants free floor access, allowing the user to farm as long as they wish; alone it provides nothing, it is only useful if the user chooses to take advantage of the service. However, the service is a temporary removal of the energy system in exchange for payment for the pass; see "we should remove the energy system" threads.
A tradeable elevator pass. Sounds really nice, means I could go crazy with a friend instead of going solo once everyone else returns to haven :(
