I just can't commit to a regular elevator pass. Worse, I want to have friends come along for the long trips.
These problems are right now solved by buying CE and sharing it - which is a so-so solution.
Another functional option would be 2-day elevator passes that I could trade and activate as I want to - seeing the current pricing scheme I would guess $10 for a 10-pack and $20 for a 25-pack. The advantage is I could just pop one when I know I have time to play a lot that day or weekend, thus I wouldn't have to think as much about how much energy I'm spending.
At the $10 for a 10-pack you'd need to complete 35 levels in two days for it to make it pay for itself - at a $10 for a 15-pack would make that 23 levels. So it wouldn't be worth it for just a little playing, but if you had time to burn it could easily be worth it. If the elevator passes were only possible to acquire with real money I don't see major effects on the economy - especially as people who can play 35+ levels a day on a basis frequent enough to affect the economy can already get regular elevator passes.
(And I give this idea freely without expecting compensation. Or even it happening. I do want to see what other forum members have to say, though.)
A tradeable elevator pass. Sounds really nice, means I could go crazy with a friend instead of going solo once everyone else returns to haven :(
