i think having a cape following any knight would be an awesome back costume. so why not make a cape that has many different colors and sizes.

maybe they might be snagged, but our wings didn't get snaged, so i think it would be okay as long as its not draging on the floor. i know we want levels, but cosmetics are i think easier to create and faster to be updated.
- someone once told me we used to have scarfs, great idea, we should bring it back and like have different designs.

seriously though, I think it'd be stupid to wear a cape. It's ok for superheroes, but on knights it would just look stupid.

oh!
if it stupid, then why do warriors odf the past wear them. cmon think about it, almost every other game that has mid evil era as its them has a cape. i know spiral knights doesnt have that theme, but why do we have valkery wings, because it works. i think cape could work too or at least have something that you can cover you spiral knights characters back that is well designed and most players like besides the wings. i think cape? what other ideas do u think might be good?

I shall attempt to respond to your post.
Warriors of what past? Yesterday? Medieval? "Past" refers to anything before the present. Assuming you are referring to medieval knights, no, they did not wear capes; that is a media created concept based on "modern fashion" irrelevant to history. Only in games and movies do capes exist.
Just because every other game does something does not mean Spiral Knights will or should. This game is based on balance, excluding the occasional Divine Avenger and Polaris.
The wing accessories are irrelevant to combat mechanics in all ways; all they do is make you have wings with unsynchronized animation to your occuring animations. Just because wings exist as an accessory does not mean capes should; in fact, it would make no sense seeing as knight bodies are short and meager.

Accessories are not
Accessories are not programmed to detect player movement. The cape would look dumb without appropriate movement animation. It would look like a large warped cardboard square stuck on the knight's back.
