radiant sun shards needs upgrades, i have ideas.

The crystal shard line is a very unique line. it attacks in 8 directions, the only problem is that it's cut off at 4*. i would like there to be a 5* version, and i think it would be a very good idea to make it branch off. fore example, for the radiant sun shards, the 5* version could be a radiant sun shards upgraded to inflict status, and a bit more elemental and piercing power could be added.

i think the following upgrades would help bombers (like me) and every1 who uses RSS, all status could be caused upon impact.bombers need to inflict status, and damage, and these upgrades would help.
RSS to Solar Flare (a 5* upgrade, more piercing, and elemental, and has a slight/good chance of causing moderate fire)
RSS to Venoshards (a 5* upgrade, more piercing, and elemental, and has a slight/good of causing moderate poison)
Rss to glacial burst (a 5* upgrade, more piercing, and elemental, and has a slight/good of causing moderate freeze)
RSS to Stagger shards (a 5* upgrade, more piercing, and elemental, and has a slight/good of causing moderate stun)
RSS to Boltshards (a 5* upgrade, more piercing, and elemental, and has a slight/good of causing moderate shock)
maybe even as far as things like
RSS to Perishards (a 5* upgrade, more piercing, and elemental, and has a slight chance of causing strong curse)
RSS to slumbershards/dreamshards/trance shards (a 5* upgrade, more piercing, and elemental, and has a slight/good of causing moderate sleep, so far no sleep inducing weapons are available, this could help with crowd control, and along with venom veiler to prevent healing, this could be just as useful as shivermist for crowd control the ionized salt bomb is on it's own/

please post comments/ questions u may have on this idea, and plz dnt try and put it down majorly...

Take away the split damage

The RSS has the same issue the AP and Sentenza had before their change. While a 5* version would be nice, I don't think there should be one for every status, cause there are already status bombs.

Taking away the split damage would make them more effective on 4/6 mob types, while making them less effective on the other 2. Then they could change the Ionized salt bomb so it covers something RSS does not, giving it a niche.

Are you aware Radiant Sun Shards and Ionized Salt had their damage lowered in a recent update? Radiant Sun was cut by one bar on both damage bars. Do you think Three Rings would make a 5* for it when it has the highest damage rate for bombs for single targets as a 4* compared to all the 5* bombs?

Look at the blitz needle

By that logic, the Blitz Needle should be nerfed, as it deals tons of damage to even neutral targets and hits 15 times with the charge shot. Brandishes also deal a crazy amount of damage with their charges. Truth is, it's quite dangerous to try to get all 8 hits on a single target, as the bomb lacks crowd control, which is probably why it has such high single target DPS compared to other bombs. Maybe they cut it down in preparation of a 5* version.

In terms of bombs, to nerf something its charge is elongated or movement while charging is slowed; Crystal line has neither and gets dual damage bars, giving the highest output by planting next to the target so multiple shards impact the same target. Blitz has movement penalties while firing and has a fairly slow fire rate of rapid bullets. Brandishes discharge a linear series of explosions following a high damaging swing which hits a smaller area of range than the Calibur spin charge.

The charge attack for Crystal line had its blast radius increased, releasing the shards further from the exact epicenter; this means it is more difficult to get more projectiles to hit the same target. No, it should not be possible for all eight shards to hit the same target unless they are standing on the exact epicenter of the bomb when it detonates.

I know this because I have a Blitz, Radiant Sun and a Combuster and am competent in using them.

i just want a 5 star version of RSS, and it's power to increase one bar again. XD the status were extra, jsut pushing luck to see wat reactions i'd get, but i'd like the line to be complete, you know wat i mean?

another 5*

and add upgrade from winmillion to winbillion, just another bar or bar and 1/2 more normal damage, same speed, mabye a better charge. :D i just want all the lines to reach to 5*

I think RSS is powerful

I think RSS is powerful enough as it is. I use it already in battle against not only all Undead and Fiends (Yes, even Devilites, try dropping where it will fly off to the side. They dodge into it, and usually die from 2-3 shards), but against many Constructs, like Gun Puppies and Retrodes. It's good for slowing a mob of Mecha Knights in your fire bomb, and even is useful in sniping Menders that walked into a bed of spikes. (No joke, really happened.) For Beasts, there is DBB, although RSS might be stronger against Snarby if placed well. Curse would make it obscenely powerful against non-Undead/Fiend enemies.

What we need is a change to ISB... pure normal, please. Shadow =/= Salt, we've got the Sun Shards for Elemental, and piercing is terrible against Slimes. While I hate to oppose a chance for more powerful bombs (and scared Skolver clones running away cursed from a bomb), I'd have to say this would break the game.
