Emberlight Elite
Rise, and rise again, until lions are made of lambs!

A league of Gentlemen & Ladies.

An assemblage of knights dedicated to the betterment and improvement of fellow knights.

A guild for others.

A guild of respect.

Emberlight Elites is a guild for those who have perservered. A guild for those who need a rest, are looking to start.

Guild Rules
1. You are not always right. This applies to anyone, and everyone. Simply "because I say so" does not make things right. Think of the other side of things, of other pserpectives. Do not do things without reason.

2. Respect. At all times, Emberlight members must respect other knights, their fellow knights, anyone.
Treat every person as you would a dear friend; with kindness and helpfulness. Insulting another person is simply not acceptable. Insulting someone never helps them. If someone is doing something "wrong", correct them. Insults are intolerable.

3. Gentlemen sound like Gentlemen. Ladies sound like Ladies. Type legibly, with correct punctuation and capitalization. You would never hear a Gentlemen speak something that sounded like a deranged buffalo, so don't let others think less of you - type with grammar.

4. Helping is not handing. Emberlight helps knights with words of advice and tactical guidance. On occasion members use some of their own resources to help out the less fortunate. As the saying goes, "If you give a man a fish, you'll feed him for a day; if you teach a man to fish, he'll be fed for the rest of his life."

1. Describe yourself.
I am a respectable person. I know my basic manners and how to treat others.

2. a. What is your preferred gear?
At the moment I have two knights. One is pretty much a basic all-rounder, using the Cobalt Gear Set. The one I am applying as is planned to become an element buff in both defense and attack.

b.Why do you use this gear?
For the first knight, the reason is sort of implied. The other is a sort of experiment. I have never used an element based knight before and I thought the new character creation mechanics would be an opportunity to play around with different types of gear.

3. Why do you want to be a part of this guild?
I feel that being in a guild allows a player to interact with other players who have similar interests and advance their character.

4. What do you want this guild to do for you?

5. Use one word to describe yourself.
Respectful

5. What is your proudest moment in Spiral Knights?
My proudest moment in the game was when I finally got my Tier 2 clearance on my first knight. I felt so accomplished with myself.

6. What do you hope to aspire to be? (by Spiral Knights standards)
I hope to eventually be a Tier 3 knight capable of facing off with Vanaduke.

7. What are the qualities you think a guild should have?
Kind members, respectful Guild Masters

8. If you could add something to this guild, what would it be?
Nothing, it seems like a respectful guild.

1. Describe yourself.
Fun loving while still carrying a respectful demeanor. I treat others with respect even if they do not do the same.

2. a. What is your preferred gear?
I usually carry a fast blade, a brandish or an antigua. However, I do have other weapons that I can equip if the situation calls for it. I usually wear an armour from the Wolver alchemic line.

b.Why do you use this gear?
I prefer weakening my foes at a distance before inflicting them with a status and heading in close to finish them off quickly. However, should my health be depleted to a critical level, I can always fall back onto causing status effects on enemies and firing quick shots at them.

3. Why do you want to be a part of this guild?
I have been seeing many disrespectful people in Spiral Knights, and being a Guild with members who are polite and considerate would really change my gaming experience.

4. What do you want this guild to do for you?
I wish for it to always be there to help me in missions, and to be patient with me even through the times when I do not purposefuly play without much skill.

5. Use one word to describe yourself.
Gentleman.

5. What is your proudest moment in Spiral Knights?
The proudest moment I had occured during a Lockdown match, where our team was losing by many points. However, we persevered and after we fought with everything we had, managed to win in the end.

6. What do you hope to aspire to be?
I aspire to one day be able to play with such skill that I could goe toe to toe with Lockdown proffesionals and solo Vanaduke.

7. What are the qualities you think a guild should have?
It should be a guild where even when the rest of the Spiral Knights community act rudely to others, members will always be respectful to other members, and will always back their brothers and sisters up when we fight against any foe.

8. If you could add something to this guild, what would it be?
Although it may sound quite immature, I sincerely wish for a guild to have some kind of secret stealth corps.

9. Is their anyone else that you would like Emberlight Elite to contact to apply for the guild?
Everyone else already has a guild, so no.

I'm much better up front than in back. I try to clear the way and pin key targets until everything is clear.

To be a part of a growing community and help others like me.

I am a student of the arts, of writing and philosophy. I recently discovered Spiral Knights and I fell in love with the arcade style cartoony goodness within moments. I enjoy talking various shades of good humored and respectful nonsense or lofty ponderings about the cosmos.

a. What is your preferred gear?
I like the look of the Magic Set, but I also have Skelly and Wolver sets, all of which I have crafted up to the 3 star variants at this stage. The weapons I have are 3 star variations of the initial three, Flourish, Cutter and Brandish. For ranged circumstances I use an Autogun or one of my two Alchemers, which are still 2 star at the moment.

b.Why do you use this gear?
I have 6 loadouts, one for each creature type, each designed to be resistant to their damages and take advantage of their weaknesses. I have yet to put together a PvP loadout, haven't tried it yet and I am unsure what it requires.

3. Why do you want to be a part of this guild?
The blurb is well written and the values of the guild appeal to me, I'm always keen to get involved with communities and contribute to the evolution of said community and to the game overall. Insofar the guilds I've joined have been people randomly inviting me, so I haven't really had any prior connection to or draw to them, other than "That's a cool guild name, why not".

4. What do you want this guild to do for you?
I don't have any expectations, I'd just like to make some friends to enjoy this great game with! Advice or assistance is always appreciated :)

5. Use one word to describe yourself.

I soloed Snarbolax!

6. What do you hope to aspire to be?
I aspire to be friendly, generous and wise.

Gracious towards other players and other guilds, a close and cohesive community of people who genuinely enjoy playing a game and having fun.

Hmm, I could write a fantastic essay about the magnificent escapades of the Emberlight Elite!

Not I, I don't know anyone else who plays Spiral Knights :)

1. Describe yourself.
Well, I would describe myself as my name would suggest. I am often known for 'badgering'. Being stubborn and aggressive, I occasionally rub others the wrong way. I am not, however, above listening to reason, and will respect others, as long as I receive respect in return.

a. What is your preferred gear?
I prefer a basic mixture of melee and ranged weaponry, and my armour loadout, though it varies depending on circumstances, generally leans toward the area of overall defense over elemental types.

b.Why do you use this gear?
I often solo, so my preferred gear leaves me flexible enough to complete the task at hand while minimizing difficulty on my part.

3. Why do you want to be a part of this guild?
For two reasons really, first, the name appealed to me. Second, I prefer to join groups of mature individuals, and avoid the obnoxious rabble..

4. What do you want this guild to do for you?
Provide the feeling of a team, who support each other and help each other advance to the best of their abilities, and make for interesting conversation to boot.

5. Use one word to describe yourself.
Stubborn

5. What is your proudest moment in Spiral Knights?
Possibly realizing that there are two fives in this application? Barring that, I'm decently new. Played long enough to get a hang of the game through kong, before deciding to go straight through the main website. As a result, my character is newer than my experience, limited though it may be, would suggest. So my proudest would be soloing the snarbolax, before restarting that is, without dying.

6. What do you hope to aspire to be?
Uhm, a player of the game? I simply enjoy the game, and wish to advance through the main storyline, while having some fun on the side.

7. What are the qualities you think a guild should have?
About the same things I expect out of it. Teamwork, support, and character. I suppose I could add honesty to that list while I'm at it.

8. If you could add something to this guild, what would it be?
Me.

9. Is their anyone else that you would like Emberlight Elite to contact to apply for the guild?
I would have to suggest them later, as I'm currently trying to get some friends to start playing, but they haven't yet.

It may be that you play at a different time then some of the others that have been on?
As of yet, we still only have 10 members, though we're working on more, and the ones that log in regularly may not be in the same timezone as yourself.
I regularly play around 4 or 5 pm (Military time - 16:00 or 17:00) EST/GMT-7, I think.

Again, if you have other friends who you'd like to invite to the guild, let me know, and I'll look them up.

1. Describe yourself: I'm pretty talkative, though if you ever find yourself talking to me and i'm silent, that's me being my second trait: One track, i don't get distracted, I just never think about the thing i'm meant to be doing. Say i'm meant to be doing homework, I'll be on spiral knights or something like that. Bad trait. Also, I talk abut my feelings every now and then, sometimes doing what people might call "going full [silly]" ._. But I find it funny for some reason...Yeah, I can take a joke quite well unless it's on a saw spot.

2. a. What is your preferred gear? Well, I'm aiming for a shadowsun set, a valiance, a blitz needle and an aegis.

b.Why do you use this gear? Because I want to try something new.

3. Why do you want to be a part of this guild? I need a guild, and this looks interesting, friendly and fun.

4. What do you want this guild to do for you? Talk to me and be my friends, as well as help me get to five star.

5. Use one word to describe yourself. *Thinks, what should i chose, emotional or mental....* Mental.

5. What is your proudest moment in Spiral Knights? Well, *this is on an alt, BUT i do play with Chibi almost everyday* defeating vanaduke for the first time. On this account I'm still "new" so I haven't really done much good stuff. Recently I've been soloing the snarbolax for cash and tokens.

6. What do you hope to aspire to be? A knight who can take new tier three people to the core, and can go through a shadow lair happily and without using ∞ amounts of energy to revive! Also, i want to get to Tier free as a free to play player.

7. What are the qualities you think a guild should have? I think a guild should be a talkative group of players who work together to achieve there guilds, but on my alt I've seen to many that aren't.

8. If you could add something to this guild, what would it be? I'm not sure...

9. Is their anyone else that you would like Emberlight Elite to contact to apply for the guild? No, on this account I have no friends or guild, and on my alt everybody seems happy how they are in there guilds.

Some final notes: My grammar isn't the best of the best, but I do try my hardest. Also, when typing quickly my keyboard tends to ruin my everything. My spelling is quite bad, but I'm trying to improve it as much as possible. Finally...I've forgotten what I was going to say. Thanks,
