The elevaters and on missions should be free since its always irratating when you run outta energy then you cant play anymore and you gott wait 14 muinets about for 1 ce.

If CE is not first obtained from Three Rings it would break the CE market.

The described system in the original post is almost exactly how mist works but with crystal instead of mist.

@Vladmir

No it won't. It would make the price of CE sky rocket making everybody mad EXCEPT the rich rich P2P players, they would only profit more. You know, there already super rich as it is.

@OP You missed a verb there buddy, would it be "going"? I would tell you other things wrong with your post but I'll let the community gnaw your head off.

F2P will also suffer.

The celebatory free elevators was a catalyst to the current prices, along with the typical inflation.

That was a speed up.

Doing this will completely ruin the market.

Rich P2P will be getting richer.

Could work

Devs need to remove the ability to create offer walls, put restrictions on ammount of CE in a single offer and and make a certain time interval between putting up offers (5-10 mins)

With so many restrictions, the market will be empty and people will trade energy directly by spamming in chat.
Player limits can be countered with multiple characters.

There's no perfect fix, deal with it.

.

I still think it might work, the sellers as like buyers must also be active in the market, not just put up a >100 deal pack in one offer and just wait until it's all sold out. They must fight for buyers otherwise it will just remain a monopoly. I don't say there should be harsh restrictions, just in the reasonable intervals. Up to 10-20 packs with a 5-10 min cooldown would be good I think.

Putting time restrictions would make it worse. If people want to buy more CE and there isn't enough CE to buy, the price goes up. Before saying anything, think of the way the suggestion effects the simple mechanic of supply vs demand. Free elevators in missions? Whats the point of making elevators cost anything anymore in that case. Free elevators = free crowns = more people buying CE = CE price rising.

Suggestion

After a second look on a thought i had. I think it might work. Larger Mist tanks. On first thought, it seems bad because more mist = more levels being run = more crowns. But. The mist recharge rate will be the same. Meaning a person will only be able to run as many levels per day as they regularly can. Less CE being bought = less demand for CE = Lower price CE. OOO might not like this idea, but. The way the market it, this is not a free game to play, unless you happen to be t3, and the only mission you do is FSC. T3 players will get bored of the content and leave, new players will not want to pay, and leave. The game will become a ghost town. This does encourage the purchase of an elevator pass, and you will still have people who can't wait, and buy CE. So have a t1 mist tank be 100 mist. t2, 200, t3 300 mist. Just rough numbers, Ill let someone else battle out the size. I'm just proposing the idea.

In response to this, extending mist tank size would substantially impact the crafting market. Anyone in T2 (2* loadout of a helmet, torso, shield, and one weapon; ~5kCr worth) would be able to craft 3* items without using a single CE if they wait for their free mist to regenerate. No mist tanks 200+. However, if it were to max out at around 150E on mist for T3 then they could potentially create T4+ having more floors per stratum as the tier system implies in its pattern. The first problem with having T4+ would be placement, since the only place to continue from would be into the core of the planet itself.

Hmmm. Interesting, but what if the core was actually opened up? would it be more like the center of a gremlin populous with machinery and such?
The idea to have a T4 isn't all that bad, at least we would be able to eventually rescue alpha squadron in some epic battle, but it doesn't end there.
At this point, the potential for soo much more content is available.

Obviously T4+ is an old topic, but in a past thread I am currently unable to give a link for we discussed what sort of things would be in T4+. It was mostly more puzzle and trap based floors along with more difficult enemies, somewhere between golden Trojans and Slag Guards averagely. Rather than going against giant groups of little sissies you get a few abominations of obnoxious obstacles.

From what I have seen around here, the problem is not a lack of creativity; it is the overwhelming amount of potential content available. There is enough commendable content around here to make an update at least once every couple weeks, essentially working nonstop to create these updates, and have very few of them be cosmetic/accessory/costume based, for several years. The game would have so many updates so fast that everyone would mentally explode into barrels.

If T4 follows the same logic, it'll have a more profitable boss than FSC. With time, people will get used to it and farm it instead. Prices will rise again :D

Unless rewards are based on obtaining equipment not yet available over cold cash, such as the countless equipment suggestions floating around here, introducing equipment marketing as more favorable over hoarding CE, meaning more people are doing the floors to profit instead of buying a fat pack of CE and living off that for a while.

+1 to OP, but also remove energy crafting costs, leaving CE for customization purposes, and we will be all fine. People are just afraid of losing their "power" over other players.

Many, many successful F2P games use the model of "pay for customization" and they continue nowadays.

I'm hardwired to always find something to compalin about, dont mind me.

Such model requires more work on fancy hats and less real content to keep the money coming.
