EoS Surprises Three Rings
So, many of you are wondering why I made this topic, or what troll thing I came up with, but fear not my fellow forum posters, stalkers, and trolls I am just here to share with everyone the surprise EoS planned for Three Rings.
 
 
Story Behind it
One day, a bunch of us were on mumble talking about silly things, and suddenly Rep and myself were like it would be pretty awesome to send Three Rings some flowers and cake just to full out surprise them. We all laughed about it for hours being like oh the look on their faces would be epic they be so surprised. Omg it would totally be a first for themÖ So, after we all calmed down, I proposed the idea of us actually doing this and we all decided to see who will chip in what.
 
 
Echo of Silence Picture
So, one day Cobalt decided to make a picture of some of the members in Eos, but without knowing what would come out of this he showed this picture to all of in Eos, and we fell in love. Honestly I wanted to take the Eos picture to the bathroom with me. Cobalt, agreed on some funds to create an unfinished picture of Eos. This picture will always be unfinshied due to the fact that Eos is always growing, and we are always forcing Cobalt to add more members to the picture. The reason, why Eos trusted Cobalt with this tremendous task is because Cobalt is one of our most loyal, artistic and well pedo members. Honestly, looking back at asking him to draw this picture for Eos I do not regret it at all because his art work always manages to make me very jealous of the skills I do not have.

Collecting Funds
So, we asked around the guild for a few days to see how much we could collect for this cake, since Rep and I were ready to throw-down for this delicious cake, but we wanted to make sure everyone else was ready to throw down with us. Only makes sense, since we did not want to be the only two. So we figure we would need well over 100 dollars for this cake. I did some background searching on how many people the cake would be for, the appetite of the staff, and well letís say I basically hired a personal investigator (lol). So, the cake money got put together our final budget ended up being A LOT more than needed. Repartee, Moonsoon, Jade-Rabbit, Aedium, Choobski, Dogrock, and myself ended up throwing some cash into this operation. Letís just say the story gets better.
 
 
The Search for Three Rings Cake
Well, we asked the guild their thoughts on what type of cake we should send them. When I say what type I mean should it be a jelly king cake etc. (Not the flavor). Some ideas:

• Vanna and Royal Jelly hugging each other — Avenged
• Giant Mewkat
• Giant Royal Jelly
• Bush
• Snipe
• Vanna
• Love Puppy
• Eos cake
• Three Rings (Giant cake with three Rings meaning three simple rings)
• Lumber
• Skelley jumping up
• Trojan
• Trojan Head
• Sexual cakes — Njthug
• Eury I Love You cake
• and many more...

But, we all sat-down looked at our fund, and looked at how realistic we can be since well asking a cake maker you will never meet in person to draw a cake from basically a picture we will be sending them is pretty hard to sell. We all agreed on a Love Puppy shooting out three hearts saying EoS.
 
 
Finding an Artist aka Cake Boss aka Master Cake Maker
So, this is one of the most annoying things we had to do. Repartee and I sat down, and googled up some bakeries close to the Three Rings Offices. To our surprise, we found many bakeries in the area, which seemed positive. We went through a few of their websites, and looked at portfolios of their past work. Rep and I picked about 7 bakeries out of about 30 of them. Our first choice was this one bakery, but they were a bit pricey. Nothing we couldn't afford; it ended up just for them to deliver this cake it would of cost us more than the cake itself. They kindly declined our business due to them being overbooked already, and refusing to deliver the cake due to the distance. We asked, a few other bakeries in the area, but we heard the same story wedding season, and well they weren't so excited I guess to make us a cake.

Rep and myself found this one bakery we figure we give it a shot, so I call in and a lovely lady picks up the phone (her voice was pretty sexy *I hope her husband doesn't beat me up*) So, we started talking about this cake I told her I will be paying for this cake with credit card, but along with this cake we would like some custom cookies made as well, and when I told her the address, she was all wait, can you repeat the address for me again, and so I did. She, started to well stop talking, and freeze up for a few seconds, and asked if you don't mind me asking who should this cake be addressed to, and I said Nick. She then asked if this was a cake for Three Rings, and I was a bit dazzled about how she knew this, but said yes, it will be a cake for Three Rings. Well, then she said, may you tell me how you want this cake to look like, and I sent her over the image over e-mail, and well she was very happy with the image. We got to talking, and it turned out I was talking to the one the only Jes. Now many of you may not know Jes, but she is Ian's wife, and well this astonishing lady is very well gifted in cooking. She was the one who made many of the cakes which are Three Rings related (1 year cake, Ice Queen cake, and many more). So after we talked I was very happy.Wwe talked for about a few hours she was very excited about what EoS was planning for Three Rings and well she is the reason this cake came out so well.
 
 
Discussion of Cake
Well, Jes and I sat-down and had a talk about this cake and I told her we just want a love puppy, a few custom cookies (Boswicks Bush, Impostocube, and Mewkat), but the design is all up to you. I did not want to well give her many rules, since sheís an artist and I find it [poopy] to deny them perfection. We agreed on small little things such as the cake flavor etc, but the design was all up to Jes. She did not use our drawing just the concept of what we envisioned, but, if I can be honest with all of you, this cake is nothing like what we envisioned it honestly looks more like what we dreamed it would look like.

Spiral Knights Love Puppy Custom Cake: Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate buttermilk cake with Strawberry mousseline. Three hearts to say ìEcho of Silenceî. Laminated guild picture to be placed on top of box. Custom Spiral Knights cookies: Imposto Cube, Mewkat Helm, Green Bush, others TBD by baker.

Special Thanks
Now, I have to be honest none of this would of been possible without Jes. She is the reason this cake idea became possible. Rep and I would have found a baker to make this custom cake, but we wouldn't of found the best baker possible. What, Jes creates everyday at work isn't something simple she creates art. I am very glad, I had an opportunity to work with her and she had a fun time creating this cake along with these cookies.

Cobalt — Dude special thanks for you, Cobby, you made one of the best Spiral Knights artwork for EoS. I know how much you hated it at times, but thanks a lot man I know itís a drawing that will never be finished, but you came up big in doing that drawing of EoS man glad it worked out well.

All of EoS — Thank you for being EoS honestly, without you guys none of this would have been possible. EoS is one of the oldest guilds in the game, and because all of you we haven't died, or gone inactive for 1 month plus. You guys are the reason why all of us are here today laughing n celebrating that we sent Three Rings a DAM CAKE in the mail. People might think we are crazy, but we [wewting] did it.
 
 
To Three Rings
Now, I know you guys are wondering why the hell we actually sent you a cake, but I know I can come up with many reasons, so I will list a few for you guys:

1. We are EoS, We do what we want!!
2. You guys do so much for us not only EoS, but all of the players in Spiral Knights. Honestly, this game is one of the best online games I ever played, and the reason why itís so great is because all of you guys putting countless hours into developing a great product for us to enjoy.
3. We wanted to (Öwell kinda) be those crazy stalkers duh.
4. We figure this will put us in your good graces to make Boswick officially Eos.
5. Provibear made us she is vicious bear <3.
