Okay guys, here I am, had a sudden thoughts for a new, and probably most player's request, for Player vs. Player... I would like to introduce and suggest new features for King Krogmo's Coliseum, which it might affect some of the few things with the other 2 games we have:
- A waiting lounge for players to either fight against players, or spectate and watch players on the fight, or just chatting around.
- Join rooms that are currently waiting for players to play against with.
- Enabling/Disabling spectators to watch. (Thank ye Nick Popovich and fellow developers for enabling Spectator Mode!!!)
Now, let's get into the topic of mines, I proudly introduce...
The Showdown & The Elimination Mod!!!!!

-=King Krogmo's Coliseum : Showdown=-
Showdown is based on one versus one, inside the Coliseum, fighting player against player in a circle. The player has to frag the other player in order to score points. Once the player is down, he/she will respawn within 6 seconds. The fragging continues until the player reaches 10 points in order to win the game. There is a time limit of 3 minutes. If the players have failed to score 10 points when the time runs out, the game ends. This mod is playable in Free-for-all and Guild vs. Guild.
Weaponary/Armory
In the beginning of the game, players are given 30 seconds of time to prepare for battle. Ye may change equipment via loadouts during the preparation. Once the game begins, ye may not change any equipments in the middle of the fight.
Powerups
During the match, players might find some random powerups that appear in the fight. Powerups include:
- Health Recovery +10
- Increased Attack Speed Bonus for 30 seconds
- Increased Damage Bonus for 30 seconds
- Flame Module(Inflicts Fire to opponent)
- Freezing Module(Inflicts Freeze to opponent)
- Shock Module(Inflicts Shock to opponent)
- Haze Module(Inflicts Stun to opponent)
- Venomous Module(Inflicts Poison to opponent)
- Evil Module(Inflicts Curse to opponent)
Ailment Modules are used once picked up. Powerups appear every 10 seconds on a random spot.
-=King Krogmo's Coliseum : Elimination=-
Elimination is similiar to Showdown, but different settings. There are 12 players in this game with a formation of 2 teams. Players are scrambled in positions and players who are placed in first position has to prepare for battle. The player has to frag the other player and when a player is down, the next player will join into the battle within 8 seconds. The player who kills a player gains 5 health each player killed. Once teams that runs out of players to battle, the team that survives with players alive, wins. This game is playable in Random Teams or Guild vs. Guild.

!Introduction of the game mod
Arcade Gallery is about how quick can ye shoot a target practice dummy(or anything to specific something mechanical?). The game mod will be based on gunning accuracy and skills. Remember that ye only have three shots! It's not about yer timing, because it won't be just one target practice dummy, instead of one, we have more than just one! There can be 10, or 20! The player(Free For All), or the teams(Random, Guild) who gain the most points by shooting the dummies, wins the game. The player limit are set to 8, and can even play in Free For All, Random Teams, and even Guild Teams!
!Game Settings/Weaponary/Layouts
A group of players will be standing in a line at the bottom and prepare their guns and get ready to shoot. Each players will be given a simple gun (I will need someone to help me do a concept art of a gallery shooting gun, please leave a comment!), their goal is to shoot as many dummies as much as they can score!
There are variations of dummies:
A target practice that stand stills will have only one point if shot.
A moving target practice will gain five points if shot.
A sped-up moving target practice will gain ten points if shot.
A circling moving target practice will gain five points if shot.
A sped-up circling moving target practice will gain ten points if shot.
A most-wanted target practice that stand stills will gain ten points if shot.
A sped-up moving most-wanted target practice will gain twenty points if shot.
A bad target practice will cost a penalty of five points if shot, moving or circling or standing still.
The variation will increase as time passes. All target practice dummies will appear at a ready-up and players will have to prepare and shoot. The remaining dummies that are not shot will be reset after 10 seconds. After the next 5 seconds, a new layout will be formed and it repeats until the time runs out. The time limit to complete the game is 5 minutes!
Ye'll be thinking how will ye shoot these dummies, on a layout? Yes! We have that, or else it won't be fun, eh? XD

FAQs
Q:Do we have Class Mods for these games?
A:I'm not sure, this will be developer's decision. For now, I can only suggest in our equipment basis.
Q:What happens if the players died together at the final match?
A:For Elimination, that will make a draw, also that if players died together in a match will change to next upcoming players in the position list ready for battle. For Showdown, players will have to spar one more time to predict the match.
Q:Having more health for players seems very overpowered, as it seems that everyone might wear health trinkets!
A:If ye remember Super Brawl from Spiral Knights Preview, some players get OHKO'd by one Gran Faust hit(or it seems). We are preventing players getting OHKO'd in 1 or 2 hits to balance and longer lasting for the game to finish. So, having 10 extra health to players is okay, and even more health obtained with health trinkets are okay as well, as long as the mechanics allow it. So do I approve.
Q:Won't be some of the players, mostly Asians and Australians, having latency issues for Arcade Gallery?
A:I suppose it seems so. But however, players will definitely improve later on while playing! If ye seen some people from the East can strive to score more, that means they got used to their timing, movement, precision and many abilities!
Q:I don't want Auto Target on, can you please make it possible to disable Auto Target for these games?
A:I hate to break the news for ye guys, but Auto Target is a function, a mechanics allowed for the game, Spiral Knights. As long this function is allowed to everyone, we can't do anything about this, but to let it decide on player's gameplay. Well, unless... we can recommend developers to do something for this, like toggling Auto Target in terms of global! Tell us what ye think by commenting below!
