Okay guys, here I am, had a sudden thoughts for a new, and probably most player's request, for Player vs. Player... I would like to introduce and suggest new features for King Krogmo's Coliseum, which it might affect some of the few things with the other 2 games we have:
- A waiting lounge for players to either fight against players, or spectate and watch players on the fight, or just chatting around.
- Join rooms that are currently waiting for players to play against with.
- Enabling/Disabling spectators to watch. (Thank ye Nick Popovich and fellow developers for enabling Spectator Mode!!!)
Now, let's get into the topic of mines, I proudly introduce...
The Showdown & The Elimination Mod!!!!!

-=King Krogmo's Coliseum : Showdown=-
Showdown is based on one versus one, inside the Coliseum, fighting player against player in a circle. The player has to frag the other player in order to score points. Once the player is down, he/she will respawn within 6 seconds. The fragging continues until the player reaches 10 points in order to win the game. There is a time limit of 3 minutes. If the players have failed to score 10 points when the time runs out, the game ends. This mod is playable in Free-for-all and Guild vs. Guild.
Weaponary/Armory
In the beginning of the game, players are given 30 seconds of time to prepare for battle. Ye may change equipment via loadouts during the preparation. Once the game begins, ye may not change any equipments in the middle of the fight.
Powerups
During the match, players might find some random powerups that appear in the fight. Powerups include:
- Health Recovery +10
- Increased Attack Speed Bonus for 30 seconds
- Increased Damage Bonus for 30 seconds
- Flame Module(Inflicts Fire to opponent)
- Freezing Module(Inflicts Freeze to opponent)
- Shock Module(Inflicts Shock to opponent)
- Haze Module(Inflicts Stun to opponent)
- Venomous Module(Inflicts Poison to opponent)
- Evil Module(Inflicts Curse to opponent)
Ailment Modules are used once picked up. Powerups appear every 10 seconds on a random spot.

Elimination is similiar to Showdown, but different settings. There are 12 players in this game with a formation of 2 teams. Players are scrambled in positions and players who are placed in first position has to prepare for battle. The player has to frag the other player and when a player is down, the next player will join into the battle within 8 seconds. The player who kills a player gains 5 health each player killed. Once teams that runs out of players to battle, the team that survives with players alive, wins. This game is playable in Random Teams or Guild vs. Guild.

!Introduction of the game mod
Arcade Gallery is about how quick can ye shoot a target practice dummy(or anything to specific something mechanical?). The game mod will be based on gunning accuracy and skills. Remember that ye only have three shots! It's not about yer timing, because it won't be just one target practice dummy, instead of one, we have more than just one! There can be 10, or 20! The player(Free For All), or the teams(Random, Guild) who gain the most points by shooting the dummies, wins the game. The player limit are set to 8, and can even play in Free For All, Random Teams, and even Guild Teams!
!Game Settings/Weaponary/Layouts
A group of players will be standing in a line at the bottom and prepare their guns and get ready to shoot. Each players will be given a simple gun (I will need someone to help me do a concept art of a gallery shooting gun, please leave a comment!), their goal is to shoot as many dummies as much as they can score!
There are variations of dummies:
A target practice that stand stills will have only one point if shot.
A moving target practice will gain five points if shot.
A sped-up moving target practice will gain ten points if shot.
A circling moving target practice will gain five points if shot.
A sped-up circling moving target practice will gain ten points if shot.
A most-wanted target practice that stand stills will gain ten points if shot.
A sped-up moving most-wanted target practice will gain twenty points if shot.
A bad target practice will cost a penalty of five points if shot, moving or circling or standing still.
The variation will increase as time passes. All target practice dummies will appear at a ready-up and players will have to prepare and shoot. The remaining dummies that are not shot will be reset after 10 seconds. After the next 5 seconds, a new layout will be formed and it repeats until the time runs out. The time limit to complete the game is 5 minutes!
Ye'll be thinking how will ye shoot these dummies, on a layout? Yes! We have that, or else it won't be fun, eh? XD

FAQs
Q:Do we have Class Mods for these games?
A:I'm not sure, this will be developer's decision. For now, I can only suggest in our equipment basis.
Q:What happens if the players died together at the final match?
A:For Elimination, that will make a draw, also that if players died together in a match will change to next upcoming players in the position list ready for battle. For Showdown, players will have to spar one more time to predict the match.
Q:Having more health for players seems very overpowered, as it seems that everyone might wear health trinkets!
A:If ye remember Super Brawl from Spiral Knights Preview, some players get OHKO'd by one Gran Faust hit(or it seems). We are preventing players getting OHKO'd in 1 or 2 hits to balance and longer lasting for the game to finish. So, having 10 extra health to players is okay, and even more health obtained with health trinkets are okay as well, as long as the mechanics allow it. So do I approve.
Q:Won't be some of the players, mostly Asians and Australians, having latency issues for Arcade Gallery?
A:I suppose it seems so. But however, players will definitely improve later on while playing! If ye seen some people from the East can strive to score more, that means they got used to their timing, movement, precision and many abilities!
Q:I don't want Auto Target on, can you please make it possible to disable Auto Target for these games?
A:I hate to break the news for ye guys, but Auto Target is a function, a mechanics allowed for the game, Spiral Knights. As long this function is allowed to everyone, we can't do anything about this, but to let it decide on player's gameplay. Well, unless... we can recommend developers to do something for this, like toggling Auto Target in terms of global! Tell us what ye think by commenting below!

What I invented were maybe player requests, such as Elimination and Showdown, because the players wanted a solo versus brawl, so I suggested everything I can.
Also, I hope that ye liked Arcade Gallery! ^^

The third minigame seems very familiar.
If we are going to start taking minigames which exist in reality we may as well have a carnival. Pay crowns for the games, get special carnival tokens, use those tokens to get special cosmetic toys, then the carnival comes back again next year. It could be on the game anniversary to make people care.
Until then, I will be riding a black unicorn.

SHOWDOWN
HP Trinkets. One with Trinkets already makes it unfair.
Encourages us to use specific weapons. Like LD. No variety unless your a god.
ELIMINATION
same as Showdown, HP trinkets ._.
Seems like if your teamed up with a pro, your probably not gonna get a chance to play.

Remember that we are not using Class Mods from Lockdown's selected equipments(those shield replacements). Therefore, adding extra health was needed to prevent getting OHKO from Gran Fausts. (See Super Brawl for more information) Encouraging players to wear health trinkets is the player's choices. However, remember that if this suggestion is being worked on, note that I already written the results might vary, as in the shields might be still those class mods, or they will take upon my idea to use their own shields.
!Elimination

I'm not sure how to argue with this, but having a professional player might always have a chance of getting his own taste of defeat from some players. Remember this:

5 health is quite a Final Flourish hit, I assume?
!Arcade Gallery (we're not going to put some duckies, sorry!)
Auto target might be a problem, but as the mechanics are always allowed, I'm not sure what to do. But on our players recommendation, I'm sure they would prefer this game mod to disable Auto Target.
If ye played Blast Network, Lockdown, I'm sure the field view would be like that. It's... just only one problem is.. I want a fixed camera position so the players can notice themselves and their targets.
I hope these answers can help! I might add some of the questions and answers to FAQ tomorrow, for instance.. the health stuffs.

It's not about that. It's about how bullets require more aiming and predicting. Not to mention that lame graphics appearing to have hit when in reality the shot was a miss.
This is the whole reason why polaris > everything else to me in LD. Because it's the one thing I can use to actually HIT PEOPLE in lockdown WITHOUT autotarget.
I don't have skill, or the godliest predicting ability out there. I know some 1bar peeps own with antiguas and alchemers/blasters in LD, even though it's near impossible for me to land a shot with those. But that's me.
I want to hear from other people with 1bar connection on how they hit stuff with alchemers and antiguas in PVP.

@Owaforum you are a hero that you try and play LD with one bar..When i have one bar and playing LD i cant enjoy it and as a result i become angry then i stop playing LD because im wasting my time..I wish OOO rings provide you with a better signal

If ye think Arcade Gallery is a problem for Asians and Australians, ye should know more if they tried. It may be true that people would have a hard time playing this game, but think again, people might improve.
I used to deny about the mario kart game that someone suggested over here, but come to think of it, wouldn't that be fun? Of course this is another problem for Asians and Australians, again.
Ye don't tell me all of these can't benefit every of us to play because of these problem. There are possibilities we can solve, sometimes.

Creative ideas like mine.. I hope there are some others like Storm the Fortress, which is older than mines.
I.. don't really consider this thread great enough, as these are maybe what players wanted, and I did for them. But however, Three Rings has only made a step of creating spectating mode only. I wish they would put our suggestions to real, too.
Hope the other players who tried to present awesome ideas for the game can make it come true as well. Such as the Mario Kart-liked game. Or guild hall, which is on the way now.
I think this is perfect for either guild showdowns, training against guild mates, and all of it im +1 with! :D

Love the idea of Showdown. Elimination might be a bit troubled due to heart pendants, but I'm sure there's a way to balance it. Full support for you Thunderbog!
One question though. Doesn't 30 seconds of status sound a bit much? I could understand if it's to speed up the game, but if not, you might want to throw in some Remedy Modules in there :v

I'm not sure exactly, however this criticism might say that this buff duration is quite long. Luguiru suggested 10 to 15 seconds before, so I might think about it a little.
I don't know if ye should throw in remedy capsules, but it sounds too easy to be onto the coliseum. :x

Oh, that. Gremlin stuff. Good times.
Only ten bars? How much does a GFaust take without any defense, fifteen? Twelve? Apparently it does about ten bars worth, so that +10 max health is good for one attack. How about give everyone, say, +40 health? And the only way to heal is the health pickup? Health trinket seem a lot less important when everyone has >50 health without them already. Maybe make it +50 for everyone instead. That ought to give those sword sausagefest junkies something to wiener around with. Neither of those were innuendos, I literally meant sausage. The edible kind. Made of meat. Like pork, turkey, beef, or whatever. Maybe even vegan sausages. What the liquids am I talking about.

That's quite overboard.
I mean, have able to shield unless it's a swiftstrike buckler of course, can neglect damages for a few time, and the better person who draws the best sword is the winner to assume. :x
I personally think 15 health was too low, then, adding 10 max health was great so, along with the heart pendants to add on. about 42 health total, unless the player wears another ancient set, that'll be 48 health total.
But really, I don't really know if ye should put a battle lengthen enough. Still, I'll try to think about it.

I play coliseum with one bar in T2 XD. AND I still dish out 4.5k damage AND get 5 caps and 5 defends.
