I have an idea for lockdown.

I've been playing lockdown alot, and I wanted to battle my friend 1 vs 1, but people keep killing my friend and me. I think it's time that there should be a Dual lockdown. If you host it, you can choose the person that you want to play it. If you want to choose your own groups, you invite different people by typing there name.

This should be a new feature for the game. Leave a comment below and tell me how good the idea is.

*UPDATE*: This is how Duel Lockdown works.

1) When you defeat your opponent, you get 1 point.
2) There wont be any power-ups. This includes Recon, Striker, and Guardian Shield.
3) There will be a small locker room and there own base, but will be very small.
4) There will only be one heart generator per base.
5) Caps Base + Defends will not count as the Caps base wont be there
6) Each Duel will be seperated. One would be Invite a friend or anybody can join.
7) When somebody wants to join the duel, if you make it to anybody that can join, you will be vs somebody based on what tier your on. Like T2 Vs T2.

You mean Duel lockdown. Dual Lockdown means two lockdowns. That's like quad team.

One on one would be stupid, since the classes and weapons work like rock paper scissors. The intire game is based off of cooperation.

It's simply not practical.

The most obvious flaw is that LD is about capturing, not killing. So a striker can simply go from point to point wiothout ever attacking his enemy. Guardians and recons will obviously lose.

Also weapons an behave very differntly alone than on a team.
For example Polaris. On a real match, a gunner may block one path, but cant cover his back at the same time so it can get ambushed. But if he only has one lonely target...

So yeah, unless your friend has some 'honor' to avoid cheap tricks, it'll get boring.

For groups, it's "Host" or "Join" a lockdown. I suggested this idea so that nobody would get in our way, but we fight 1 to 1 knight. The weapons wont be there.

@Juances There wont be bases in duel. Its only fightning and if you defeat your opponent, then you get a point. It's almost like blast network, but different. Thank you for the idea.

More mode basically

Duel mode is great, I think it will be also fun to have modes like capture the flag and team death match. The host and join option will be also be a great addition as well since lots of people would like to play with their friends.

Developers can make it so that there won't be any rewards in the rooms that is hosted by players but upon game starting everybody have to pay like 100cr (so nobody is getting any reward but just paying 100cr to play a private game). On the other hand, playing on ranking rooms , it will reward you with krogmo coins, cr, the bribed stuff.

@Orangeo 1) There will be your armour, your own weapons, but there wont be any Striker, guardien or recon. Otherwise, one would use recon and it would be like Hide n seek.

2) No its not boxing. Its using the same battlefields as the regular LD's.

Lockdown is simply not LD without classes or points.

You mean simply mean 1 on 1.

If you want to duel, go and set up a guild LD(if friend is on another team) and agree with the terms with the others.

Maybe 1v1 LD maps could have just 1 control point in the middle, that has a larger capture area than the ones we have now (to prevent haze bomb spam covering the entire area)?

Nobody said modify Lockdown without shield mods, what Benightz meant is he wants to duel with his friend means there is a few option like enable private game or add a duel mode. Well lots of people would love to be able to play a private game with friends just for the fun of it. Lockdown just randomize teams and made it really tedious to play with friends especially when you have like 4 players, it is almost impossible to be able to join the same game. Besides, even you end up in the same game, you can't decide who will team up with who and may end up being 3 friends on red and 1 on blue which made is not fun anymore.

@Yukarie What I was thinking is that there would be a small locker and base room. And the battle field would not have the following stuff.

-Capture Points
-Defends

These will be there

-Small area of base and locker room
-Battlefields: Same as the regular lockdowns
-There will be objects and barriers

I mean, the title isn't clear.

I mena, private LD would be better.

Even then, this is sounds like a Deathmatch due to No defends or CPs. That's the goal of LD.

That is my gripe.

So, I am saying, rename this to Private Deathmatch or something because, this isn't LD.

Looking at the rules, there are no CPs, Classes(so your own sheild), you can invite others to join during the match,and each person faces another while segregated into what ever tier their opponent is in(like t2 v t2).
