The non-AA user is my favourite.
However there is a genuine lag in Spiral Knights, I can perfectly accept player justify their failures with lag because it is just as true for me. This last one is a bit exagurated IMO.

I switched AA off about as soon as I found out about it. I haven't looked back, it was mostly a pain when I was trying to set off exploding blocks next to Lumbers rather than hitting the Lumber itself with my Antigua for derpdamage. Or hitting Silkwings next to Lumbers. Or hitting the weak (sweet) spot for MASSIVE DAMAGE. Or... okay, I'll shut up now.

I am neither F2P nor a beta tester. I got here in November, just in time to miss Pumpkin Bandoleers and froody masks. (A friend on Kongregate introduced me because he wanted to do a video of the game, but it never got made.) There have been a few mobile payments that came up to about £20 total, but everything else has either been gained through reinvestment or as a gift from certain friends.

Regrettably, I do lag and my laptop has the unfortunate habit of cutting out. In the middle of IMF, usually.

I use AA because my aiming sucks even with it on ._. Its true. i miss zombies with a sealed sword and vanaduke with a pulsar.

Im the guy who doesnt say anything bad about anything in LD and calls all the pros pro, but when a hammer kills me i am the demon who spews vulgarities. The hammer explosion lags me, the dash lags me, the hit lags me, it full combo kills me. Oh god.

I dont call hammerers noob, but when its used by a person purely using it and sucks at dodging or running, it still kills me with a few hits, so i call em noob, ironically, all hammer users suck at dodging so blah blahblah. Blah blah? blah blah blah.

I'm guilty of the "off screen hits" one. A bit of an exaggeration on my part. But honestly, my service provider is AT&T and I use a small, dinky laptop with a broken fan; lag is imminent. DX

At the second point: It's completely possible to make a killing without spending a penny, just much harder. But I don't see why you would want to hide that you support the game.

At the third point: Don't trust Steam's dates since the game was around a long time before it was on Steam, and people didn't necessarily convert their accounts right away. If they can't show you their Groundbreaker though, then yeah, they're lying for sure. It's pretty much the beta player's ID card.

Don't forget the, "You suck because you can only spam [*Insert weapon that you just killed them with*]"

Sure lag is obviously a real problem, but letting the one who is not lagging / killed you anyway know that "Warning!! I am experiencing lag right now!" is one of the most pointless actions you could possibly take. I can't see a scenario where announcing your lag is in any way useful.

The whole lag thing is really lame. Most of the time you know it's total [bull manure], but even when it isn't, I have to spend health/ce to make up for your cruddy connection/pc? No thank you.

Auto aim does kind of bother me. When you play PVP you play against people, and predicting how your opponent is going to act is kind of important. So when the computer suddenly takes over and he/she moves in a way they wouldn't have otherwise, it is jarring and messes with my game. That said, so many people use it, I can't really get upset over it anymore. I just think of such players as bots and try to adapt.

F2P vs. P2P, someone was or wasn't in beta?...not sure why I should care.

Ah, I've gotten the non-swords are noobs/cowards/noskill a lot too. Always found that one to be amusing.

I find complaints about weapon spam amusing. I play guardian, and there are definitely situations where my teammates leave me in the lurch against 2-3 enemy strikers. The way I see it, once my shield breaks in that situation, I'm almost guaranteed to die, and it's only a matter of doing as much damage as possible on the way down... how would my opponents *prefer* those last few moments to be spent?

I find this thread almost as a bad reflection on the community here (And hopefully not an accurate one). Was this really necessarily, a thread made solely to bash on others, and honestly how many of those complaints/excuses can you take seerusly? Obviously you guys have not been in pick up groups like me and the OP. Team play is discarded; 4 knights thinking as individuals & competitive ego show-offness in which fainted party members are ignored when it comes to health revs. Hey if they wanted to solo then they should have done so. I'm not here to watch you play, I'm here to play as well.

When did we have 5 non gm's in a cw party at the same time? Unless you were one of those "knights thinking as individuals & competitive ego show-offness". In which case, stay on the ground for trying to do more than you can.

I've never seen anyone complain about autoaiming in pve. Except on the occasion where someone is trying to break a wheel by hitting around its shield.

Doesn't concern anyone in pve, only concern is how well you play with your gear. And experience shows that while a f2p may be mouthy on how he's f2p, his/her playstyle isn't affected by his/her status. A bad f2p is the same as a bad p2p.

"The Beta players"
So a beta player is playing better than you by clearing a room 1 person down, while the monsters have increased hp. A good beta player is the same as a good player who started a week ago. And if he dies? He's just as bad a the player who started a week ago. I fail to see how his ego of being a longer sk player annoys you more than a non beta player playing the same way.

"The Laggy Players"
If he's lagging as bad as he says, he should be on the floor with you as well. Don't see how this is being showy, unless he's playing well and still saying he's laggy to rub in other people's faces. Try muting.

While there actually are kids out there who cant spend money since they dont have jobs or their mommies wont let them, there are people who claim to have never spent a penny on this game, despite somehow having epic UVs on all their gear and expensive costumes. They dont craft and dont even farm the clockworks, because these "savvy economists" can play the market and magically gain crowns or ce by doing nothing. The only thing magical or savvy in here is your credit card. Nice try though.

I have to back up & defend Fehzor here since P2P isn't much of a need if you're playing SK for profit terms only. The only reason I became P2P was because of the elevator Passes being released. I bought CE in the past before that since I wanted to craft gear but I myself do not call that being P2P. This E-pass, I do call this P2P because now I can have unlimited access to play in the clockworks for one entire month and because of this, I'm literally paying to play. I don't play for profit terms as much and I always do gameplay > profit runs.

But recently I figured out a way to become rich that not even the previous P2P concept of repetitive clockwork runs I've done with my Pass could not even compete with this tradesman luxury. I can only play profit runs to a small certain limit per day since I get tired quickly of doing something over n over. Not everyone can become a skill tradesman like Fehzor; I managed to grasp a little of this epic glory and basked in my 90k crs that I made in 5 days nearly. It's all about hussleling, that's all I can say & my crafting of token weapons ~

Albeit I am slightly guilty of the lag one, but whenever my ping hits 400+, I have a tendency to run far away from the party, and alert them I am lagging.

The only things I can ever blame my deaths on, albeit rarely happens, would be FPS lag, since I'm on a not-so powerful computer, FPS lag can and will happen if too much **** happens on the screen... And the fact my tactics failed me and I plain ****ed up.

They're complaining about the wrong UVs. It's Shock UVs that should be nerfed. Or, more specifically, require Max+Max+Low UVs to resist Light Shock.

You should wear Mercurial or Grey Feather to even THINK about stepping in that VT.

Firstly I do partly agree with the epic-truth but, i'de say none of us are perfect we all have that lag especially me having an awesome aussie latency but i cant complain there are some with the same 1 bar as me or even worse. Yes some deaths of mine are a result of lag but most of them are my own mistake, cant yous just admit that no ones perfect. secondly so what someone claims they're a player from beta, why should you care if they are or are not its not going to harm you and thirdly its just a game :)

This means that Firebranders are throwing their own eyes at you. This has to be counter-productive as they, once both of their eyes are thrown, could not see you, allowing you to sneak up and then frivolously filet them with your fast and furious Final Flourish. That was an alliteration to add additional alliterative appeal to this wall of text. It is a wall of text, a great wall, even. Just like the one in China. Allright heart pendants are pretty nooby. UV's take time and effort to obtain. Heart pendants are easy to make and give you around double HP as a striker.

The hammer is sorta p2w. In T2 it'll kill anything without ele defense in two hits. If you use ele instead of peircing then they just use their flourish, the only vialble armor choide is drake, but you waste power with a medium beast bonus.
