IN MY OPINION: It is nearly impossible to uninstall. I have searched the forums and NONE of the methods outlined there will uninstall this garbage game from my Win7 x64 ultimate build. Its worse than most malware, this poor excuse for a trash game. I have a plethora of complaints about this stupid game (none of them are regarding energy prices so chill out) Instead of plastering the forums with posts about why I hate this game, I just decided to uninstall it. But no...3 rings devs arent smart enough to deploy an uninstallation prog compatible with my build of Windows. Surely they realize people may eventually not want to play this derivative, boring, thoughtless, hastily put together TRASH of a game. Any ideas? Will Malwarebytes work? Cause that's what this game is, MALWARE. Shame on 3O and Sega. This game is weaker than Hellgate London. You suck 3 rings.

p.s. if you like this kind of game, go check out Mythos Europe. Its similar, but doesn't totally suck

HEY FANBOI: BEFORE YOU FLAME MY POST READ WHAT THE FIRST 3 WORDS OF THE BODY OF THIS POST ARE.

Have you tried just deleting the folder?
It's a simple java app that doesn't hook into the system.

hahaha ultimate build, I wish I could believe this was just trolling/a joke.

if you actually managed to screw with windows enough that it can't run a generic uninstaller I think the balls kinda in your court.

Uninstall steps for Win7/Vista

- Look in your Control Panel under Programs and Features, uninstall Spiral Knights from there.

If it wasn't there use:

- If you used the downloadable client it may be installed in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Three Rings Design\Spiral Knights (default setting, you may have chosen a different path). Delete this directory to uninstall.

- If you launched the game from our web site, you'll likely have it installed in: C:\Users\\AppData\LocalLow\spiral. Delete this directory to uninstall.

I think most of the techniques on the forum assume you haven't lobotomized your PC with some BS that makes it "ultimate"

Poseidon has given you an

Poseidon has given you an exact method that leaves no game files behind.

The Tech Help sticky also tells you where the game keeps its registry settings. The delete button works there too.

They see me trollin'...

...They hatin'...
With good reason.
I am of the opinion that if one knows how to create an "ultimate build" of Windows (can Windows even BE ultimate anything?), they should have some basic understanding of Java and how it interacts with, well, anything. Am I wrong in that?

you're making fun of the wrong part of the OP

"win7 x64 ultimate build" = a PC built windows 7 x64 ultimate as opposed to win7 64 pro or win7 home etc, that should be pretty obvious

that said, the uninstaller works perfect on my own win7 x64 ultimate pc

My apologies

It's honestly been so long since I braved using a Microsoft product that I was not even thinking of the existence of a 7 Ultimate version! So, I take back that part. But the OP is still an energy complaint away from being a true troll. He was too long-winded and flamery, not carelessly ignorant enough, his ignorance was too focused. And there you have your troll-critique of the day. :)

*cough* It's ultimate

*cough* It's ultimate edition, not ultimate build. Talk about ultimate edition, and people understand you, talk about ultimate build, and people will laugh at you. Terminology: It's there for more than just buzzwords.

As per your issue, if you truly do feel that SK is malware, then roll back to a restore point, then just delete the orphan files from your hard drive. Or you could do the more logical option and delete the game files (It is a java ap afterall), then run a regclean to remove the orphaned registry keys.
