This is bulls***

Shadoowcs (another spiral knight) had an arcane halo bound to a magic hood. He sent in a support ticket to get it unbound and it was unbound. It is now on the Auction house.

This has happened before with a twilight aura he had on a skelly suit that u guys unbound for him.

This is twice now, on two of the most desirable accessories on the game that OOO has unbound an accessory (an absolute impossibility for everyone else) for the same player, shadoowcs. What the F gives? why is this. i demand an answer! I want to know the reasoning behind allowing this same player to do something twice no one else has been allowed to do once?

And fyi, both times it was so he could turn around and sell it. this is bulls*** and unfair.

100%

100% confirmed.

000 took a twilight aura off of a skelly armor for shadoowcs and now they took an arcane halo off of a magic hood for him. I can say with 100% accuracy they did this, i seen it first hand. Shadoowcs made incredible profits on both of these items. He bought them for cheap, 000 unbound for him, and he sells for massive profits. It's not right. They unbind for everyone, or no one, not just for shadoowcs. It's [bullpoop].

Oh my...

Uh oh!

Probably...

OOO is only unbinding very expensive items (probably so that others may buy CE and buy that item)
or
Shadoowcs is part of something...
something sinister...
or just a privilege

This shouldn't have been

This shouldn't have been allowed even once.
If there's no official way to unbind accessories it's just not possible. Period.

i smell fishy-ness on the ticket submission request

not sure if
he add words that attract ooo's attention o3o
or just pure luck and made a windfall with the help

Not speaking for OOO...

But as far as I believe, OOO is not unbinding accessories at a request. They are merely undoing a mistake. It is possible that it was an unintentional fault and sent in a request ticket. So, don't get your hopes up about this. I seriously doubt OOO is unbinding everything only more recently rare accessories such as the Arcane Halo and that's only if you had made a mistake. (Equipping instead of previewing)

...or I could be completely wrong.

But the guy sold his stuffs

But the guy sold his stuffs stated from Rommil and Pawn..?

Still a mystery.

From what i understood from

From what i understood from the posts, he actually bought the items 'with' the accessories on them. Then he pretended it was an accident in order to get OOO to unbind them so he could sell them for profit.

No idea personally, but thats my theory based on the above posts.

This probably falls foul of the forum rules.

Can we reframe this as just a discussion of OOO's policy on such requests, rather than what one person did/had done?

(I agree that such requests should generally not be entertained.)

Bild des Benutzers Glacies

It's possible that he

It's possible that he originally intended to sell the Halo and used it instead.

But I can't read minds so I have no idea.

@Enclavean: If this is true it's such a shame. I hate people who exploit da systum to get what they want. But wouldn't OOO have records of the trade? If anything?

Bild des Benutzers Pawn

@everyone

He bought the item because it had the accessory. He bought it because he believed OOO would unbind it and he could sell for profit. He believed it because they unbind a twili aura from skelly armor and he made over 2m profit on that scam. THE TRUTH. I seen it first hand.

No.

You're wrong because I bought the Magic Hood with Halo attached from Shadoowcs.

As for the unbinding accessory comment, they would only allow you to "unbind" an accessory once. I know because I've had it happen.

said player

confirmed both situations to me. thus is my knowledge. he could have lied, granted, but i doubt he did.

including that he told me the arcane halo on AH is his, and was unbound from the magic hood. no idea what u are talking about hadn, but i disagree.

Well the magic hood I bought

Well the magic hood I bought from the player had an arcane halo and helm guards attached.

It could have been another magic hood sure, but OOO will only "unbind" an accessory once if it was an honest mistake. They made that clear to me after I attached something wrongly.

That's because this is something that has HAPPENED (I think), what you talk about is just some kid running around tailing you offering [special] ammounts for a fluffy tail. Priorities and such, y'know?

Funny since Hadn bought the

Funny since Hadn bought the halo off him which was bound.

From my knowledge Three Rings did remove a few players accessories, but their protocol with removing items attached was changed not too long ago, so as of right now they are not allowed to remove accessories from items. Second, I don't see why you wish to troll or demand answers when you don't even have the facts right. Unless, I am mistaken and he re-equipped another arcane halo n then got it removed, but saw him selling an unbounded one after Hadn bought the bounded one from him.

@Orangeo I upgraded to the helm I wanted it to be and removed the helm guards so even with a screenie you wouldn't believe me.

Player one makes a mistake.
OOO fixes said mistake.
Player two did not get said mistake fixed, and complains.
OOO stops fixing said mistake for everyone.

Reminds me of-

Player one makes a mistake and deletes his earbuds.
Valve gives him vintage earbuds.
Player two abuses the system and gets vintage earbuds.
Valve hears and never fixes said mistake again.

i just want to know, its the Arcane halo Bound in purchase or something it only comes for p2p? because if i recall correctly i asked this guy one time how he did get the Expansion Mission to sell via steam and he told me he was FULL F2P and never waste a dime on OOO. so if those arcane halo comes bound in purchase or something and he is f2p then that mean the unbind comes from someelse before

my 2c worth

you should be able to unbind accessories from any gear but the accessories you unbind are then bound to your account ...

cant see why this isnt possible for OOO and would be a nice feature

would be nice to be able to unbind my accessories so i can reuse then on different gear

I looked into this, and Hadn

I looked into this, and Hadn is correct.

Here's the deal: In the past it was our policy not to remove accessories at all.  There were one or two special, good faith cases where an exception was made.  We recently changed our policy because our logs are now more specific; the GMs are now able to help someone if they accidentally attach something provided they contact us right away, the request is reasonable, and they've not had such an exception in the past.

So no, accessories are not unbindable on a whim, and the OP's thread title is misleading for claiming so. As such, I'm moving this to the Graveyard.
