Darkfang Shield

Now we can be Darkfang Thwackers and be impervious to all attacks from behi-- oh wait, it doesn't stick to our backs. Lame.
So yeah, I'm guessing this was snuck in with Arsenal Expansion 1. Anyone else find anything new and/or odd?
(Note: I was not the one to acquire this shield. I'm envious of the one who did though, it looks like a pretty good shield.)
Looks like a drop. Darn. I would have liked a 5* version of it.
For all we know there IS a 5 star version of it. If I had to guess [and this is a pretty big guess] more light will be shed on this topic once we hear more of that King Tinkinzar fellow.
why couldn't it go on ones back, swear to god I'd take that over what current shields do any day.

...you do know current shields offer 360 degree protection and the absolutely incredible shield bounce mechanic, right?
but for once, the 360 is unrealistic -especially with spikes-, and obviously enough to see, the gremlins with shields on their backs can attack while blocking. and thus, let me rephrase. "I'd rather have a shield on my back that provides a smaller amount of defense, with more ease to use"

I think it would create more harm than good.
Especially with bomb users.
All you'd need to do is hide in a corner after pulling monsters and you'd never get hurt, while being able to spam bombs.
Then there's the matter of being able to run backwards into turrets and all that business.
Plus, if the shields were breakable, hitboxes would become a major issue.
So while it would be cool, it would probably break the game.

Let's not forget that if you just put it on your back for invincible back defense, you'd also get cornered much easier by enemies and not be able to shield bounce out, instead having to open yourself up to attack to get out.
and current shields couldn't possibly be any easier to use. Also, no one gives a damn about realism, it's a game where you're robot alien trashcan people invading a planet inhabited by skillsaw cuccoos and repair droids from star wars.
"All you'd need to do is hide in a corner after pulling monsters and you'd never get hurt"
well, I didn't mean invincible anyway, and don't the gremlins shields eventually break too? just higher defense by a good amount.
@hazel I'd happily just be cornered and murdered ;D
lololo bout realism though
It was some guy in the French haven, took a screenshot and handed it over to Tsuki to make a wiki for it
