I'm a left-handed and I want my knight to be left-handed too.
For now this game looks like USSR, where everyone were right-handed because being left-handed was not right. lol
It's not so hard to add in game, please, do it.

oh it requires only to mirror everything, it's a batch process, not a big deal.
If you think it's so easy, do it yourself :p
All the tools you'll need can be google'd and are freely available.
Juances, the thing you just said is so.. damn I'll need a lot of soap after I'll say this to you, lol. For answers like your there is a special forum called Gremlin Chatter.
If I was a game creator and a part of OOO - sure, I'd have it already done.
But I already have work I like, and I listen to my customers. And OOO have work they like, and so they listens to their customers too. I pay for this game, because it's the best way to say: "Guys, thanks for your work!", and now as a customer I ask them for this nice feature, which could make happy a lot of left-haned knights.
Being left handed would only affect guns seeing as bombs are placed at your epicenter and swords have an immediate swing effect; the bullet path would start on your left side rather than right. Other than that all this would do is be another cosmetic chore.

"If this is so easy, you try it."
"No, you are stupid and a horrible person."
Good night, folks. Tip your waitress.
"Why would we need this" size, color, accessories.. Luguiru, I have noticed that you prefer text games.
Unfortunately my English isn't too good to explain obvious things.
I thought "Suggestions" forum was made for suggestions, not for insignificant talks.
If Yes - okay, if No - why no. Choosing priorities, and think how hard to add something - developers work.
Nobody likes an op who thinks a suggestion to his problem/wishes should belong in gremlin, as if it didn't matter. It is a real suggestion. If it is so easy to do, why not do it yourself. Just don't advertise changing the game files to the gm's and devs. Honestly, that's a dick move, saying that juance's suggestion should go to gremlin.
"Unfortunately my English isn't too good"
You should be in the forum for your language, not using a broken translator to be confused. If there is not a forum for your language that should be your focus.
"I thought "Suggestions" forum was made for suggestions, not for insignificant talks."
The topic of this thread is to have a left handed option when doing so would not create new content unless it was only obtainable through an upgrade similar to the height and eye modifiers, though since very few people care which hand their weapon is in it would affect a miniscule minority. If creating this option is as easy as you claim it to be, as Juances said, you try it. No one is stopping you from making some example models. No one is asking you to whine about how other people respond to you. You are stopping yourself from making progress.
I say it's easy because It should be easy for developers, not for me. I easily provide any changes in direction I have chosen as my profession. And as a professional in my field of activity, I think that OOO are professionals in their, so adding this will not be hard to them.
I use english forum because it is used by most players. And looks like I'm still talking about obvious things.
Luguiru, I know you have head on your shoulders, please say at least something useful besides attacks.
About my english, I'm trying to make it better everyday, and current level is already enough to my friends from the whole world to understand me. I use only abbyy lingvo for words I don't know yet.
You want to talk about minorities?
I don't understand your reasoning for how it could be easy or not for other people. Say I am a professional at teaching. Could I speak for someone who is a professional fighter pilot?
We don't know how easy/hard it is to implement this, simply because we have not seen or have knowledge of the coding for this. Unless you have seen the coding with your own eyes and understand the ideas behind the logic of such coding then you cannot say how easy or hard it is.
With that out of the way, the suggestion in of itself is not a bad idea, but there are far more important things to focus on than this. Balancing of all sorts, more content, more gear, more guild features, etc. would certainly take priority over this.
Look at your monitor in a mirror. XD Or use SS.
Ok, maybe this wouldn't hurt to bad to have in the game. But just take note that the devs may be quite busy with their stuff. Idk if I should +1 or -1. I'll just leave this here:
+0
(ok back to making games! ^.- )
Why not,im left handed too and i wish my knight can hold his weapons in left hand
and really i dont see any advantage at holding weapon in left hand,it would all be the same as holding in right hand
including the bullets from handguns and swinging from swords, its all the same as the right hand,no advantages or disadvantages
+100 ^^
I write and eat left-handed, but almost everything else I do right-handed. (Throwing, rackets/paddles, sword wielding, single handed shooting.) (Two handed shooting is my left side...)
I think my hands work like this:
Left: Control, finesse
Right: Co-ordination, strength
It's weird how my hands have different attributes.
Since I hold swords and one-handed guns in my right hand, I don't really care, but its a good idea since it's not a complete game changer and will add a little variety to the game.
By the way, I know about the swords/guns from playing with Nerf stuff, not the real things...
Jeez people, stop hating on Ewbte. He or she isn't extremely familiar with english, and just wants to suggest something. Is that so bad? What's so bad about making a mistake because you're not familiar with a language? Just talk about the dang suggestion, and stop hating. Anyway, I think it would kinda fun to walk around with weapons in my left hand. I may not be left handed, but I still like the suggestion. While we're at it, how about dual wielding? I'd love to have two antiguas or something and shooting both.
It might not actually be so simple as a mirror. In Spiral Spy, one arm is designated to hold weapons, and the other, shields. Putting a shield on the weapon arm looks weird and vice-versa.
If we're talking bare-minimum, that means swapping the models and code associated, flipping said models to fit, and then fixing the item models. This could very well be a long task depending on how the devs set stuff up.
maybe its weird for you cause you are probably not using your left hand to write, but i really think that when you give it a try it will be fun as well as it would be in the game
Well, simply flipping the models would look perfectly fine. But yeah, depending on how stuff is set up it could take time.

[[EXCUSE ME?!]]
Yes, thank you for that wonderful little suggestion, and that AMAZING (sugooooi~!!!) comment on the treatment of that wonderful little sugestion.
First off, I want to know how much free time the two of you have. Hmm? A lot? Not everyone DOES! Not everyone is a lifeless little NEET huddling in mommy's closet! Some of us pull full-time jobs and don't have the time or energy at the end of the day to spend WORKING all the more so we can have fun! And the rest of us have NO interest in mutilating and modifying all our favorite games - PROBABLY requiring that we learn a new coding language and POTENTIALLY getting banned for modding the client depending on what game and what mod - JUST so we can have left-handed characters.
Second, I can't believe ANYONE would look at that post as a sincere suggestion. It SCREAMS "shut up, nobody cares." So no, nobody's ASKING Ewbte to complain about the responses... nono, they're BEGGING and those who aren't begging themselves but ARE supporting the hate-beggars are merely either trolls or socially inept.
THIRD: "Very few people care." How do you know? Do you? Have you raised a poll? Have you taken census? No? Then shut up. Just because I didn't go out and mug someone for their shiny, new PlayStation VITA and just because I'm not actively asking or BEGGING for one... that doesn't mean I don't want one. That doesn't mean I won't buy one. That doesn't mean I don't care. It's called being passive. You, Luguiru, are as presumptuous in that as all three of you are in terms of modding. Just because YOU are active and outspoken does NOT mean that the people who aren't don't share someone else's thoughts. It doesn't mean they don't care. It doesn't mean they agree with you by default. NOT voting is NOT voting no. Kakay? Do you get it now?
Have you three shed some of your selfish, arrogant presumptuousness yet or do I have to make sure it's not "tl;dr"?
Here's the short version. NOT everyone has the time to mod, telling people to "mod it yourself" is essentially the same as flipping them off, and a lack of "MUST HAVE MUST HAVE" does *NOT* mean lack of interest!
Get it yet? Kakay, bye!
"How do you know? Do you? Have you raised a poll? Have you taken census? No? Then shut up. "
You were the one asking for a change. The petitioning side is supposed to come up with headcounts. Apparently your failure to do so is my fault.
"Some of us pull full-time jobs"
Judging by your writing tone, you are not one of them. Unless you count having your head between them southern cheeks as a day job.
"I can't believe ANYONE would look at that post as a sincere suggestion. It SCREAMS "shut up, nobody cares." "
So screaming at people is not being serious. That makes complete sense in every way.
1.) I'm not the OP. And do you really think I'm asking for downvotes as proof of something? Learn to parse. No, I'm saying that your "nobody cares" bit is an irrational presumption. I am not so much as implying ANYTHING more than exactly and exclusively that.
2.) Does it matter? Data is data. Who gives you that data is irrelevant in all cases. The only "exception" is when you decide to mix in your opinion of that person and corrupt your perception of the data before actually processing it.
3.) Serious != Sincere ||| And really, does a small grammatical error truly change the gist of my statement? I'm sure even you can understand what, overall, I meant.
101.) I love how people try to magically make my statements incorrect by deliberately connecting the dots wrong (Protip: it's 1 > 2 > 3, not 1, 6, 4) and utilizing vilification (i.e.: throwing around silly assumptions regarding my occupation as if to say it makes me wrong). XD
...that's a terrible pun.
Other than that, this sounds like a perfectly okay idea. The only minor issue is that some shields are not perfectly symmetrical (the Buckler line comes to mind), which would make it either odd-looking due to having the spiky part at the front, or flipped around. (I don't know how much work that would take for it to be coded in game, to be honest.) Most other shields I can think of would work perfectly fine, though.
Plus one, I guess?
