Thought to be extinct, the lone Vog has survived down at Down at depth 28, fiercely guarding the core against any life form.
Ok, im pretty sure this has been posted on these forums before, but a Vog would be a nice T3 boss (or mission).
I support the idea of having a Vog as a T3 boss.

in a trailer for spiral knights you do see a vog(s) so they do exist but were removed like the tortodrone

In the wiki, the cubs have been hunted to extinction for their coats, but yeah they were removed, but it would be nice if they were placed back in SK.
Also, the Vog Cubs looked WAY different than alphas in the video, but they acted like them.

"vogs". There is only one vog. What you see are vog cubs, monsters that are more or less possessed by vog.

Nothing in that video is truly identical to an alpha, vog cubs are heavily recolored and (they look this way to me, not sure) bigger. I would be fine with a vog boss, but I'd rather there be a vog-themed design (meaning it's not a random assortment of blocks) level set that just featured cubs, with hints and traces of vog him/herself.
Alpha Ashtails are different from Vog Cubs.
Vog Bann'it !!! I know what everyone else is saying, but i think they could pull it off!!! some holographic spirit of fire that takes the form of a toothed beast? i dunno,seems fine to me.
We already have a T3 fire boss (vanaduke is actually a fire boss and not an undead boss which you can see by looking at the arcade gate map) filled with the second easiest mobs in the game. This would add another T3 fire boss filled presumably with the easiest mob in the game.
Those thing you see in the trailer are Vog Cubs, not Vogs. In SK lore, Vanaduke visited a shrine in the mountains to try and save his fallen kingdom (Almire). The fire deity at the temple (Vog) then cursed Vanaduke and Almire with fire.
Nowhere does it say that vog is a wolver, a beast, or even a physical being. Vog Cubs were wolvers infused with Vog's power.

so, since vog chose select wolvers to imbude his power within, and being a spirit of fire and all... don't you think he may sometimes take the form of a wolf-like beast (despite te fact that he/she/it isnt)?

Wrong, Juances was right the first time. Those creatures were Vog CUBS; Wolvers put under the fiery influence of Vog to spread his 'love'. Since, removed.

Didn't the wiki say that Vog was a fiery deity or something? Appearance is something still shrouded in mystery.
Also, hasn't this been suggested lots as well before?
@Diamondshreddie, That's true, but Vog also "imbued" Vanaduke with his fiery deliciousness so he just as well may look like him.

@Psychorazer, I don't think so, I think that might be referring to Darkfire Vanaduke, the shadow lair version of Vanaduke.

We then have to go into into shoot down/cynical mode. We have to do this like one every week.
We used to be more nicer, where people posted good,well-through ideas.
Then those people come, with their half-thought ideas that most of the playerbase have decide should not be even suggested due to those people not understanding the game(Dual weilding without shields, Remove CE, Houses, healling weps, ect).
Live in our shoes for a day, then you will see why we are "Jerks".

Vog turned vanaduke into what Vanaduke is now with little efort.
I think vog would have to be in the core not tier 3.

Vana was fighting a war, hes losing so he goes to a shrine, asking for help. Instead the place curses him and set Vog to destroy the place. the Vog is One monster with the power to influnce anything, mostly wolvers. also was the shrine infected with the swarm? (why would the shrine curse Vanny?)

We dont even know what a Vog is, all we had were Vog cubs. Mommy and daddy were never shown.
