Heyas fellow knights, I was just wondering today about the guild ranks, you know recruit, member, veteran, officer and then GM when i though, "hey they are so simple but we should be able to change them."
It came to me after i made my new Guild (The Midnight Mafia) because in a Mafia you wouldn't call people those ranks. E.G. the GM(s) would be the Godfathers, the officers would be the Mob Bosses, The Veterans would be the Mobsters, the Members would be the Gangsters and the Recruits would be the Goons. That's just for my guild. For others it would be completely different. (well probably)
The way this would work is that ONLY the Creator of the guild could change the names. It would be on an extra panel when you click on "Guild Options" and the extra panel would be called Change Display Names. If the creaotr of the guild left, the control of the names would be dictated by the first person the creator made GM, and so on. (or whatever you have re-named it).
Hope you like this idea, Aced-acer. {Creator of The Midnight Mafia} (Sorry if this idea has already been considered!)

Why not whoever was at the top of the chain of command at the time? OOO has indicated that they'll add more functionality to guilds, I'd be very surprised if this hadn't already been implemented.
