Just wanted to say sorry for my attitude in LD to the low ping clones out there. The smart thing to do is exploit the most powerful combination in the game... which nothing else compares to. Every GvG is just an orgy of toothpick skolver striker. The outcome is mostly determined by ping. Telling yourself something different (like I try to do over and over) is just kinda silly.

Some day maybe OOO will balance it? I'm honestly glad they're still focusing on the in game co-op rather the Lockdown.

Anyway, I'll be outa LD for a while. Enjoy dominating people who don't exploit it. Apologies for the poor games.

They really just need to just remove Damage Bonus from this game aside from Trinkets or just remove the Sword damage from the Striker set and
I'm pretty sure it would open up more possibilities.

Part of the issue is that there's only four unique styles of swords in this game: Basic (Leviathan Line/Brandish Line/Spur Line), Fencer (Flourish Line/Barbarous Line), Heavy (Sealed Line/Trokia line), and Swift. (Cutter Line)

If there were more styles it might actually change what people do instead of using Gran Faust and the Flourish Line. *The Rocket Hammer is part of the Heavy-line except slightly changed. (Additional hit)

The problem is that flourish has wide swings like a sealed, while being faster than a calibur and, unlike cutter, easily interrupts the enemy.

That screen cap Canozo... Pretty sure I was the only 5* person on the team. Exception being Grug, who is from Australia. I've seen your videos, your pc performance is pretty epic. Your entire team with the exception of Bloodc (and he did join in) just polaris walled us that whole match - Good job. Lagged me down pretty hard.

It's always something isn't it?

A few months ago, I remember we had a discussion over PMs where you thought that people who were further from the server had an advantage in LD, and that you thought I was from the West Coast. Now you've come full circle and realized that it is low ping that is advantageous, yet you told me you are from Pennsylvania, which is far closer to the server than the vast majority of LD players, including myself. Furthermore, I know that you yourself use a Final Flourish in lockdown, albeit in shadowsun gear instead of wolver line. The shadowsun set is actually quite good for playing the hybrid style as one is able to rely less on risky sword damage, and therefore stay alive quite long, yet still able to inflict heavy sword damage opportunistically. However most established LD players are already invested in UVd wolver gear, so that is what they will use in GvG.

If you actually open your eyes, you'll see that toothpick skolver is not the only viable option. The hybrid sword/gunner style is far more prevalent these days than before and several members of my guild have recently begun popularizing the use of brandish line. It's quite foolish of you to single out Aequitas for derivative play style as we have done more to diversify weapon usage in lockdown than you have.

Wait, so where are the servers? O_o East Coast? Well then that explains everything. I'm on the west coast and I sometimes get pissed off when my connection goes to 1 and 2 bars and keeps fluctuating and shifts my position. Then sometimes it even causes my screen to vibrantly shake every time I die, which I find quite annoying in PvE and PvP. I had originally thought the servers were on the West Coast, since I knew the OOO headquarters are in California....

Well, what do you know. After playing more than a year of SK, you still learn something new.

And tbh, not all skolvers and flourishes are daunting.... It's quite fun annoying/fiddling around with them with my valiance :D
