I am a Knight Elite, yet I have almost a full 4* set and can be easily ready to upgrade to T3 clearance by 11/20. In fact, I could probably do it by tomorrow. So, why do I get a 3* sword and shield that will be completely useless to me forever going forward? They should have given the awards at the end of the "homecoming" period, or at least given us an announcement that it would happen.

I am completely 5star, (about 5 sets of 5star armour) yet I have not seen any reason to actually complete the last mission becoming a vanguard. However, had I known this was going to happen I would obviously have prepared and got my vanguard rank ready for the update to receive a 5star sword and shield.
Mind you, you didn't have these items before, and you likely didn't know you were going to get them. Ever heard the phrase, "don't look a gift horse in the mouth?"
Let's face it; it's a Levi sword; you won't be using it much regardless.
They did say there will be rewards based on ranks when the mission updates first came out. Which is why i immediately hurried to get my rank up.... just sayin.

I got 4* when I'm 4.5* and haven't got round to the missions...
