instead of wolvers barking during live battle, which does nothing by the way. give them this ablitiy called roar which does a small pushback around their bodies plus status effect base on what status theme the wolver is. the pushback would send the player only 1.5 spaces away.

alpha wolvers gets a different sort of roar where they can roar in a specific area like a zomby breath. the diference between the alpha wolver's roar and the zombie breath is that the roar last only a 1 second and it does pushback plus status effect. the alpha wolver will also be able to do the roar normal wolvers can do.

*related to wolvers, but not worlvers directly. i was thinking sense the silk wing is always seen with the wolvers, why not give it the ability called force evol where it can forcefully make a wolver transform or grow into an alpha wolver. this ability only has a 45% chance of working when it is activated. the ability only activated in the healing mist the silkwing creates after it dies.

another way we can do it, is for the wolver to have a small percent chance of turning into an alpha after receiving damage that brings it close to death. when the damaged wolver is close to death, it will have a 20% to 35% chance of becoming an alpha. well thats all i have.

The current bark comes without a warning, practically unavoidable. Wolves need to be harder but not impossible.

well

if there should be a warning, then give them a glowing tail. when ever they are about to bark the tails glow to a point which they reach critical. as long as players watch their tails, they will know exactly when they will bark (roar). this doesn't make it easier though cause if there are multiple wolvers, you will have to watch multiple tails as they teleport around u to bite u in the rear.

each tail would glow in a different light base on the theme of that wolver. examples are:

stun = yellowish brown

ice = whitish blue

fire = reddish orange

sleep = non - existent

shock = blueish green

also, when a wolver is transforming to an alpha wolver, i would like to see an animation for it like the tortodrone's animation transformation.

@ blandaxt

I see nothing seriously wrong with the idea, maybe only one or two minor things...

Just wanted to point out that you said different lighting tail for different status themes... I hope u realize that shadow is not a status theme...

@Apophis:

Maybe he meant curse.

But whether he's talking about Sleep, Curse, or "Shadow" status, none of them currently exist in Wolvers as far as I'm aware.

you are .. :P

you are completely right. what i meant was the void wolvers that are located in that shadow lairs. the only problem is that i do not think they have a status, so i will exclude shadow from the list of statuses.

concerning void wolvers, i think they do not have a status (i think there the only ones without a status) they will only have a push back with teleportation. their tails will also glow purplish black and the teleportation will give them a chance to start a bite attack, but the bite attack will have a smaller time for charging then their regular charge bite attack.

than you for helping me make the thread better.

Oh, and +1 by the way.

I'm all for wolver buffs. The poor guys are totally useless since they lost their tracking.

Hm, well then.

It just needs some tweaks here and there, but otherwise nothing is really blatantly wrong at Blandaxt's suggestion(Well, seems like every dog has his day).
However...

I don't think a glowing tail seems very fitting. Instead, just make make them do a threatening pose and make them growl as if they're going to bark. You sure had experienced in real life how sometimes dogs start to growl a small bit and then turning that growl into a bark. Something like that. It also adds an acoustic warning to it. Seems better than just making their tail glow.

Regarding that silk wing stuff, I think it shouldn't happen upon death, because you are actually supposed to target the medic first. An upgrade to everything living near its death bed would be counterintuitive. How about just making it happen over time while it heals the wolver or maybe as a new move? Alternatively, we could have a whole new silk wing line that's just there to beef other enemys up. Just throwing some ideas around.

It's a mystery to me how an enemy promotes itself by damage.

DOG!

do i go woof woof in any of my threads? why am i being degraded into an animal?

i think a glowing tail is a lot more noticeable and predictable then a growling pose. noticing a growling pose amist 6 teleporting wolvers will be hard to track. so i rather a glowing tail for it is more user friendly to new players and old alike.

i thought of giving the silkwing a move to be able to upgrade the wolver to their alpha form, but i thought giving this ability upon its death was more intresting exactly because counterintuitive. this way players who aim first for the healer will have to ether shield bump it away to a secluded area before giving it the final blow. also, i mentioned that it happens at a 45% chance, which means it wont happen everytiume a silkwing dies, but players will be more warry because they would not want to face extra fully healed alphas.

i like the idea the wolver gets a 20% to 35% chance to transform to an alpha when it is close to death because it produces a mesage that the will for the wolver to survive its close encounter with death forces it to evolve to its alpha form. this would make some players more warry of the wolvers because sometimes alphas can become more trouble some to deal with then the average wolver.
