FYI, you don't hunt Vogs down. Vog is a deity, if you were hunting it, there wouldn't be multiples of it.

Having two status effects is pretty powerful, you may want to decrease its damage a little. Any weapon that has a status effect automatically becomes slightly weaker, and it seems like this weapon would be pretty strong without either of those status effects.

Having a longer range than a Troika? Idk about that. Those lines already have massive ranges, especially in LD with the ping issue. Maybe just have a graphical cable letting the weapon extend, without actually making it any longer than a troika's range.

Finally, how would the retraction work? When you throw it, down it like zip back to your arm? How long does it take to charge? Can it cause both statuses with normal attacks and charges, or only charge attacks?

EDIT: One last thing. Weapons that are split between Elemental and Pierce have greater disadvantages than any other type of weapon. The Argent Peacemaker used to be split Elemental/Pierce, but was fixed because it only did good damage against Undead, and was normal or weak to every other family.

No, what I mean is, when OOO makes weapons, if you'd notice, most if not all of the weapons with a status effect (Or static family buff) are weaker than comparable weapons without status effects. For instance, Leviathan Blade and Cold Iron Vanquisher. CIV has less damage than Levi, but carries an Undead: Medium "UV" by default. Another example, Voltech Alchemer and Prismatech. Voltech has a lesser base damage, but can cause shock, while Prismatech has a higher base damage, but has no status.

Well, not necessarily. I just don't recall you saying how long it takes in your original post. I'd assume, by the way the weapon functions, it would be about the same as the Sealed Swords. Was just curious though.

Mm...I'm really not sure how an Elemental/Pierce sword will work though. They already tried it with AP and practically everyone (including myself) complained until it was changed to pure Elemental, because of already-stated reasons.

Oh gods no a pure-pierce Sealed Sword. Please don't utterly destroy Lockdown.

Pierce/Normal split damage please, more balanced in both LD and the CW.

I like the idea of having it have a slight chance of stun on the 2nd hit of the weapon, and a chance of minor fire on the Charge. Due to the fact of having two statuses though, it will have to have its damage lowered a little. Something like 30%, almost as much as a Normal weapon.

Divine Avenger is not pure elemental - it is split with Normal. And, don't put pure damage anything, it's OP in PvP and underpowered in PvE. Split whichever damage with normal. Pierce/Normal or Elemental/Normal.

There are no pure pierce heavy swords because every enemy that is weak to pierce is a fast enemy. The only exception is a Trojan, but for that there's the super-easy Blitz Needle technique.
